love the hotel area, close to everything.

1. the bathroom was poor. 2. the customer services was not friendly.

love the hotel location, close to everything. just very dissapointed with the bathroom room, the shower was broke not very comfortable to have a shower with that condition. the customer service was also dissapointed they are not friendly and they keep looking at us but not smile. so really i dont have a clue what they are looking at. for a short visit to stay not too bad. overall is unsatisfied.

good location, near all shopping, transportation, restaurant, internet and bar

No free internet at hotel, internet is charged more cost. No toothbrush, comb in the room, hotel prefer low cost but no breakfast. Bathtowel is too old. Using water is turned a little bit yellow

I like this hotel because it's clean and near to the most what i need such as restaurant, busway (active like MRT in S'pore), tuktuk, taxi....You can find free internet at Starbuck Cafe or some restaurant near by also. The Staff need to be willing help more to show the guess what basic they needed. They just say "take a taxi" rather than show us the best way to go by bus for saving time (heavy traffic jam after 4pm) and money. I stayed 4days/3nites in Ibis Arcadia and 3days/2nites in Ibis Temarin (in front of) cause it has a pool. Anyway, we enjoyed to stay here. I'll be back there if i have a chance to visit Jakarta again. The internet should be free or charge at low cost is better

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Do not use internet at hotel or restaurant. You can find a lot of food aroud hotel and internet with 4,000RP/ hr. 2 blocks from left side you can fine backpacker area, pub, long distance bus and you can walk to Gambir to take a bus to airport with 20,000RP instead of 120,000 ~ 140,000RP by taxi

it was the first time i have been to Jakrata.. Its location is good.. very conivient to check out the center of city. You can go to sarinah mall to buy some handidraft and batik,, just take a short walk from the Hotel. The hotel is clean,, good dinning room,, and decent swimming pool,, The staff is very friendly

Even i booked single queen sizee bed, hotel staff first given me single size two bed room, after i complained hotel staff gave me single queen size bed room.

Restaurant Tip : very near hotel komalas for vegetarian people.

Simple. Room decently large. Location strategic to happening hangout till late night-SARINAH. Well maintained room. Courteous taxi readily available waiting outside to serve guest.

Bathroom need some refurbishment if not replaced. Bit old.

This hotel is lovely as it is not too large and staffs are courteous. The room is well maintained though not new, its size is fair for the price I paid for. Ibis-Tamarin also offer a decent outdoor pool for those who love a swim. The taxi drivers waiting outside are generally courteous & know their streets. Hotel located about 7-10min walk to Sarinah where lots of restaurant, fast foods & a HERO Supermarket we can shopped for anything till late. Walking to Hyatt-Plaza & Grand Indonesia-Kempenski area possible too ~ 15min.

This is my usual hotel i stay in Jakarta. Most of the time, this hotel never fails me. This time round, they do not have a non-smoking room, so the room smells a little. But generally ok.

Nightlife Tip : Pubs nearby. good restaurants too.

nothing luxurious just a very standard hotel

It was a nice stay rooms and bathroom are a little small but if your not planning to spend much time in your room it shouldn't be a problem. Good location close to most of the shops so it saves you a lot of time in traffic. There's a nice Japanese restaurant opposite the hotel and a nice Indonesian restaurant next door that makes delicious food. Definately recommend for a comfortable cheap stay.

Quiet and friendly staff who are very helpful. Check in was available at 10 am.

Would be nice if wifi was available in the rooms.

I have stayed at the Ibis Thamrin on numerous occasions in the past and found the service and the surroundings very acceptable.

Travel tip : The hotel is central to many shopping and night spots that are available in Jakarta

It's located near the center of Jakata center area. Not so far from airport.

Because of closely to Jakata center, it's so traffic jam. It takes time to get out of this area especially using taxi.

Tamarin is ok. The room was a decent size and so was the bathroom. Clean. The gym has a few running machines and weight machines and the staff was friendly. The swimming pool is ok but it feels a bit claustrophobic as surrounded by 2 close walls. Also,it's always in the shade so if you plan on suntanning, this is not a pool for you, it serves its purpose for swimming only. I would definitely not recommend eating there. I had 2 evening meals (buffet - which I paid extra for and quite pricey): the first time, i picked up a desert in a glass bowl, it was full of ants! The second time I found a hair on a sausage. The waiter just laughed it off both times and said 'sorry' but nothing else. Eat at your own risk!

-Near to amenities -Near to restaurants -Near to Railway station,Monas and places of interest.

- Toilet pipe leaking. Needs maintainance. - Initially found difficulty opening the door with the strange key. - The door has to have a chain lock inside so that staff cannot just barge in.

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nites. check in was easy without any problems. Room was neat and tidy and facilites were good. if i travel again i would like to stay i dont mind to stay in the hotel. Mostly suitable for a couple or a single traveller. The room also had a 2pin to 3 pin adaptor which was useful for charging the battery. Toilet pipe was leaking and should be maintained properly. The door should be fitted with a facility to lock from inside(use chain and slot) so that staff cannot barge in just liek that. Overall good hotel as far as value for money is concerned.

Travel tip : -Any time if u hungry can go out eat..all resturants 5 mins walk away. -very near to station and shopping centre.

Neat clean receptive front desk.

central air conditiong on 7th floor makes excess vibration and sound

The location of the hotel is good and one can choose to travel in city in taxy or by air-conditioned buses. Resturants are close by including Komlas an Indian resturnat.Famous Sarina shopping of Indoesian handicrafts and clothing is 3 mts walk...staying at rooms in tha back is a good option who needs 100% quietness. Worth staying.

Shopping Tip : shopt at nearby Robinson. sarina....
