Ibis Arcadia Hotel, Jakarta

This hotel is very nice and situated close to the busway for cheap transport all over Jakarta. It is also quite close to many government offices that I needed to visit to get a research permit. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. You can leave your valuables in the free security box at the front desk and access them as many times as you need.

I have a pleasant stay for 3 nights. Overall is ok! juz wanna recommend to improve things in shower room.

The location is wonderful as there are plenty of local food around the corner. Higher level of food range can be found just a little further walk of 1 min, to have pizza, 24 hrs cafe, japanese food, fast food. Even more food stall opposite at Sarina Building. Money changers around the area and the best rate I had found is the one in a building where Cinema 21 is in. The hotel front desk staffs need to be more cheerful and have to explain the details to the guest. I wanted to upgrade to an executive room and asking whether does it include breakfast and internet, and the answer is YES! However, when the next morning, they still charge me on the breakfast.. When asked again, the same staff denied what had he told me the day before. No doubt it is not expensive to pay for the breakfast, but it is the unhappiness about what you told and what you get is different, feeling cheated and therefore the breakfast around the hotel premisses is much more better choice and cheaper. Overall it is still a good stay.
