a very strategic hotel located in the middle of Jakarta, with easy access to everywhere and also good for business traveler. It is very near entertainment and local food joint. Or you can go to a five star restaurant which serves a variety of food from local, western Japanese and Chinese cuisine. And most important and very helpful is the hotel manager.

Generally, good value for money with basic facilities. Centrally located for those small time business people meeting clients as easily accessible. Shopping centres and food outlets just few minuates walk. However, not recommended for family members as some sleazy bar abound. In the night women soliciting nearby the hotel. House keeping needs to improve on monitoring staff shortcomings like failure to replentish towels, toilet paper and shampoo. Front office stall generally courteous and will render whatever assistance required.

Marvellous location at central district with proximity of shopping centres. Generally, staff courteous, helpful and able to communicate in English. Room generally clean and comfortable.

Housekeeping evidently lacking. Towels missing, shampoo and toilet paper no replentishment.

• Shopping Tip : Great place for shopping with local and foreign product available. Local product are a good bargin which offers 50% discount. Cinema are also available at very low cost. Please bear in mind to come early before screen time as the show will begin screening before the scheduled time!!

The stay at Ibis Arcardia was a worthwhile experience and it is value for money. Its location is strategic and convenient for easy travellers like me. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staffs were very friendly and made me feel like at home at all times. They were very helpful whenever I needed help with directions and more information on the tourist location.

The hotel was in a great location in the Jakarta area. Its close to other hotels in the same category, which is about 2 to 3 star hotels. It is part of a good hotel chain, which is the Accor Ibis chain, which guarantees a nice service and facilities. It is also close to basic facilities, like restaurants, malls, groceries and others. However, the hotel has no gym, no pool and other facilities. Other hotels in the area have these facilities at almost the same price. The good thing though, is that the rooms are bigger and its pretty clean. The staff are also great. I arrived at the hotel with a big group at around 12 midnight. Since I came from the airport and just had money changed, I had no small bills to tip the bell boy that brought all of our bags. They were very nice and courteous, they simply smiled and said its ok when I wasnt able to give them a tip. The room service is also excellent, I was able to get what I needed at that hour. It certainly made me tip them more the next day!

• Shopping Tip : Sarinah, a local department store, offers a wide array of local goods and handicrafts that is perfect for gifts when you return home. Its better to shop here than in Plaze Indonesia or at Indonesia Festival Mall or even mangga dua, because its very convinient and relatively less expensive.

Hotel Ibis Acardia is a great hotel for its price and its location. Relatively cheap, and being a part of a worldwide hotel chain, the hotel has a great staff and great service. The rooms are clean and big, reminiscent of older hotels in the area. Its very close to the dowtown commercial districts, and walking distance from the Sarinah Mall in Jakarta, offering an array of Indonesia made goods great for souvenirs and gifts. Its also close to a catholic church for those who want to go to mass. However, the hotel lacked facilities like gyms or a pool, and again the hotel had an old hotel feeling, as can be seen in its furnishing and corridors. other hotels in the immediate area offers the same rate with other facilities, but smaller rooms. another Ibis Hotel in the area, Ibis Tamrin has smaller rooms but better facilities. Overall, 4 stars for this hotel. The great staff makes up for the miss on this hotel.

The hotel has a nice and accomodating staff, great service, nice lobby, and big rooms.

Hotel lacked some facilities, the rooms tend to look old and dated, the hotel has a retro feel which isnt really that goog.

• Shopping Tip : close to Ibis Arcadia Hotel are two shopping malls, the Java shopping mall and Sarinah departmnet store. In Sarinah, there is a great selections of native handicrafts and a grocery as well as a pharmacy. At weekends, the area around Arcadia turns into a night food stall markets. Try the martabak for a great meal.

I stayed in Ibis Arcadia hotel for just a night for a business trip, I was very appreciate for the help of the receptionist to get the information of my customer location and he was help to schedule my time and standby the taxi to me and I have not worry about my appointment with my customer.

Cheap and good service, nearby is a big shopping center for those member who like shopping.
