Location, near to shopping, lots of food stalls open in the evening, close to an excellent bus service, friendly staff, good room rates through agoda, fast and dependable internet service in rooms (at the time of this writing- for an extra $7.00/day) and nice breakfast. Was not able to access WiFi service as promised in the standard room, had to use lobby. Worth the extra $7.00/day to move to room with free unlimited broadband. I have enjoyed the Ibis Arcadia (extended several times). The rooms are comfortable, staff are friendly and efficient, location is great for shopping and eating (night food stalls where can taste many different Indonesian cuisines), the proximity to good public transportion and reasonable room rates.

friendly staff and enviroment my stay at this hotel is overall in good condition, the front desk, the business center staff. The hotel also located at very strategic place whereby easy to go to every part of jakarta, and getting food also convenient with availability of international brand food or you can try the local food which is also taste good.

Great service, clean and spacious. Hot water in a nice bathroom and air con in the room. The restaurant is good and offers a range of meals (asian/western). Sometimes an early ring of the doorbell for room cleaning and sometimes the room would not be cleaned until the afternoon. This is minor I think as the staff are very friendly. Need more power points in the room for charging equipment. This hotel is very nice and situated close to the busway for cheap transport all over Jakarta. It is also quite close to many government offices that I needed to visit to get a research permit. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. You can leave your valuables in the free security box at the front desk and access them as many times as you need.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Jalan Jaksa is just around the corner. Heaps of expats hang out here and there are a good selection of bars and cheap hostels if you need.

The hotel is located not far from Bus Priority Stattion (Serinah Station). Easy to catch bus to many places. Shower room condition is quite old and the room size is smaller than what I expected. I have a pleasant stay for 3 nights. Overall is ok! juz wanna recommend to improve things in shower room.

Good location, good air-conditioning. Staffs need inprovement of explaining details The location is wonderful as there are plenty of local food around the corner. Higher level of food range can be found just a little further walk of 1 min, to have pizza, 24 hrs cafe, japanese food, fast food. Even more food stall opposite at Sarina Building. Money changers around the area and the best rate I had found is the one in a building where Cinema 21 is in. The hotel front desk staffs need to be more cheerful and have to explain the details to the guest. I wanted to upgrade to an executive room and asking whether does it include breakfast and internet, and the answer is YES! However, when the next morning, they still charge me on the breakfast.. When asked again, the same staff denied what had he told me the day before. No doubt it is not expensive to pay for the breakfast, but it is the unhappiness about what you told and what you get is different, feeling cheated and therefore the breakfast around the hotel premisses is much more better choice and cheaper. Overall it is still a good stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Try the Cinema 21 in EX buidling (where HardRock is), just 5~7 min walk from hotel. Their Premier seats are good, sound system is wonderful and the most important it is not too expensive.

value for money especial for hot deals I tried to find a hotel with reasonable price and good loction in Jakarta. Ibis Arcadia is the one of the ideal hotels I chose. The hot deal price is very competitive and you cannot get when walk in. Though the breakfast is not included but you still can find some place around with cheap and quality food.

Good sized room. Our stay at IBIS Jakarta was a very pleasant experience. We were permitted to check in early. There is a great food market just around the corner and it's close to the bars. Blue Bird taxis have a stand right outside the hotel and they are very cheap, reliable and honest. The room was clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again. Great value for money.
Restaurant Tip : Go to the food market around the corner.

Receptionists are friendly, helpful,knowledgable. Hotel is nicely kept and accessible to nearby tourist attractions. Easily to find good food and nearby shopping malls so convenient. Taxis are easy to reach.
A la carte food at one and only hotel restaurant is not so nice and expensive. Overall this boutique hotel is nice to stay for a medium budget traveller as the price is worth paid for the services and quality among the same ranking hotels. I m quite impressed with the warmth and coutersy of front desk service staff. This is the first time I visit Jakarta, and it won't be the last time as I will definitely stay in this hotel if I revisit here in future.
Restaurant Tip : Try Garuda for Nasi Padang nearby the hotel, price is reasonable and wide variaty of dishes to choose.

Bedsheet, toilet & floor ok. Breakfast is available at a reasonable price. lovely decoration and good aircon and other facilities. Generally I was quite satisfied with the hotel within the budget. we can stay for three to four days but not more. Quite good service from the hotel's staffs and they are very friendly. The room is very clean, Bedsheet, toilet and floor is clean, fresh and confortable. the floor shuld put carpet for better performance. The should provide more parking lot.

The hotel is very centrally located and has lovely decor and good aircon and other facilities.Breakfast is available at a reasonable price,but there are dozens of restaurants within easy walking distance.Lotus and Sarinah department stores are a few minutes walk and two large shopping malls are about fifteen minutes walk or a very short taxi ride away.
The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was that the rooms are not carpeted and are covered instead with tiles or vinyl which feels "sticky" to walk on.It's a pity they don't at least provide mats bedside.
Shopping Tip : Walk to Lotus department store just two blocks away for good shopping at good prioes.

Good service from the people in the hotel, just like other hotels usually have in Indonesia because of the culture of Indonesian people. Very close to business district on Sudirman Jakarta with low price but off course the room is not too good. Not recommended for people travelling by own car because of the limited to no parking lot for cars. Also the room is quite old, the AC is not working properly. The price is not too worthed for the room quality. Generally I was quite satisfied with the hotel as it was close to where I was going. Regarding the room, even it was quite old, the was room very clean and the service from the people was very good.
The hotel needs to renovate the room and change the AC as it was not working properly. Also they need to think about providing a better parking lot. The backup generator also need to be renewed. The was a power outage when I stayed there and the backup generator was not strong enough to handle all of the electric equipments and the elevators could not be used.
Hotel Feature Tip : Do not choose this hotel if you travek with car.

very strong smell of gas through out hotel [on all floors] Very strong smell of gas through out hotel {on all floors] we asked about this smell and hotel staff said the basement had had a problem early in the day, with a gas leak,but ok now. It was still there in the morning.Sleepless night wondering if we were going to fly higher than or 4th floor room. You may read in the news about this hotel.

Convenient, near eating place, very accessible, reasonably clean toilet small without toiletries, red lights shops 2 houses away. Road infront quite jam. Nice and conveniently located hotel. Clean and affordable. Staff well trained and well kept. Near to food shops and other convenient places. Separated by a lawyer firm is a red-light shop. May not be totally a bad thing for some ppl...hahaha! There's another Ibis across the road. May worth considering too.
