Perfect for an overnight stay between flights when it is not practical to travel into Jakarta proper; in rush hour it may take more than an hour by taxi one way if traffic is heavy. Staff were helpful and friendly; rooms and facilities were fine, breakfast buffet was quite good. Don't expect a resort ambience but overall the hotel serves it's purpose admirably of being convenient. Layout is a little strange (1 flight up to lobby) so use the hotel porter for luggage.

Handy location and good for travellers in transit, it is the only hotel anywhere near the airport, unless inbetween flights would recommend you try elsewhere. Room had a funny smell, was supposed to be a non-smoking room buta musty smoke smell that lingered. Bathroom not clean, left over soap and dirt in shower from previous customer. Secure hotel and hassle free for those in transit, suprisingly quiet considering how close it is to the runway.

We stayed here for one night between leaving Pulau Weh and heading back to London (via Singapore). Our room was the furthest (3-5 min) from the front desk. We finally arrived and had to sit in the hallway outside our room for 15 minutes while not one, not two, but three separate people attempted to let us into our room. A key finally worked, but the staff member took the key with him. We went to reception to get a new key...which did not work. The internet did not work at all in our room.
The room is tastefully decorated and quiet and has ayll the basics you'd need. (Well, a hair dryer, hand soap and conditioning-shampoo). Room service brought us tasty steaks, passable margaritas and banana fritters unexpectedly covered in coconut -- an allergic reaction waiting to happen.
The breakfast buffet is pretty good -- a mix of Asian and Western dishes. Check out is swift and leaves you inside the airport terminal. Watch your flipflops on the escalator down!

Great place to stop after a long flight
inside the Jakarta airport

I stay at the Jakarta Airport Hotel between flights usually. A simple and comfortable hotel, which is conveniently located in the same terminal as international arrivals. I feel like I learn a bit more about the hotels amenities every time I stay there. This time I had a late evening flight arriving from Dubai and was taking an AirAsia flight to Yogyakarta the next morning. Typically I would take the regular airport shuttle to switch terminals, I was informed that the hotel had a shuttle that would take me. While the shuttle is not necessary it was nice to not have to wait for the other shuttle.
Hotel Feature Tip:
shuttle to other terminals. You can pay what you want for the shuttle. I paid 10,000 rupiah.
