Great rooms. Nice ambience. Good food. The Marriott suffered a bombing in July as everyone knows but the staff are really keen to have people back. The hotel is very good value right now. The Japanese restaurant is superb. The amenities are good. Rooms are spacious and comfy. The security is a little weird since the place feels like an airport when you go in and out. Give it a try, though. Don't let the bombers win.
Restaurant Tip : Japanese restaurant. Hotel has no nightlife any longer but lots of options in Jakarta.

Near By to City malls, Museum, Walking distance to crowded malls to get cheap things Break fast is poor, Reception staff not quick in serving the Customers as per the 5 star hotel standard, Massive security arrangements feel like intruding the privacy We booked the hotel via the option on agoda.com and got a killer rate for a Deluxe room. Service generally during our stay was polite but not outstanding, Massive security arrangements inside the hotel more than the security Check In at London Heathrow airport, The Breakfast is not expected as per the 5 star hotel standard especially the continental breakfast is the worst part, Hotel Location is good walking distance to the nearby crowded mall.Hotel could not help us providing cab during the muslim festive season so have to rely the third party to look around.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Nearest one is Carrefour for getting groceries/shopping, apart from that You can get all the latest movies/audio DVD for the rock bottom price 3@1 USD, if you buy bulk still you can get cheaper, do not buy the branded fragrances eventough they are cheap as the fragrance does not last longer and can get cheap womens apparel and soft toys at the Damm price and lots in the crowded mall.

gym and bed room... the bed fantastic restaurant architectural..... lounge at the reception... if you have to meet customer? not privacy
of course 5 starts hotel have to be good... good servive but for the price of the room they should give free internet connection, that what i called good service... 64.000rp per hour its enormous and ridiculous as we all know the price of the connection in indonesia.........

Great services from faclilites to front counter staff. Treated with BIG SMILES all the time. Upgraded to Excutive lounges. Very quite place. Hardly see any guest. As expected. JW Marriot has been a International 5 start hotel all the while. With the past and recent events, this place has been a fearfull place to live in.
From entrance there are easily 10 security guards with high tech machine for security clearance.
Honestly, with all the security planning , no one would gurante you a safe passage "HOME". Live goes on.
Marriot you have within the time. Surely Gooodness, I will visit again.
Restaurant Tip : This is located within Mega kunning, Baggio with Sport Cafe,Amigo,local Restaurant, and OAk Wood buidling next to it.
