Large rooms (executive).
Free internet access (only executive).
Nice breakfast.
Very good view from executive rooms.
The breakfast area is a smoking place, so everything is very stinky.
Every time you walk into the hotel, they need to check all your hand luggage (everywhere in jakarta).
Airco was not very powerful.
We enjoyed our stay at the Lumire hotel very much. When we arrived we got a free upgrade to a executive room. This room maybe was one of the best I have ever stayed in. What a large room and a spectacular view! Great bathroom and a very nice shower with good water force. Nothing negative to say about the rooms. The breakfast was nice, but the area was a smoking zone which made it disgusting for us non-smokers. Very nice hotel! The location in town is great, exactly in the middle. However, you need a taxi every time you want to go out.. walking in the area around the hotel is difficult since there are hardly any pedestrian areas. The hotel is next to a small shopping mall with some restaurants inside.

The location is next to shopping complex and quite central. Clean and strict security check

The good part of this hotel is the location as it is quite central to Jakarta, easily accessible from and to other places. Though you have to pay for internet use in the room, you can get free access from the hotel lobby. Decent breakfast provided.
Shopping Tip : the shopping complex next to the hotel is good place to shop and dine

Plenty of restaurants within the hotel premises eg Japanese, Chinese and even a bakery!
*Breakfast can do with some improvement-eg American style breakfast, its excellent if you're into local indonesian cuisine. Also coffee and tea served at Spices Cafe were cold..the waiter probably has been carrying them around for ages
*Not very well-known to locals or taxi driver and bajaj driver as it has undergone a few name changes...they probably knew it more as Atrium Hotel.
Stayed in Lumire for 2 nights. Had booked for a standard room but was upgraded to an exceutive suite instead whihc was excellent!Comes with free WIFI in the room if you book for any executive rooms (level 15-16) and also the use of exceutive lounge. However, choices of breakfast appears limited in same, it would be a better choice to head down to Spice cafe at Level 1 for breakfast. The rooms were modern and tastefully decorated impressive for the rates paid. Large comfortable king-sized bed. Staff are friendly and helpful throughout which makes our stay a pleasant one. Will definitely be back if I am heading this way again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Jakarta has nothing much to offer in terms of sights. There are trips to Thousand Island (Pulau Seribu). We checked on trips to pulau Ayer (www.pulauayer.com)which offers floating cottage built 3m aboce sea level. It was a reasonable rate for 2D1N full board but does not usually have enough head count for weekday trip (min 14 heads for departure)Bajaj is a great way of communiting within the short distances , they usually have a logo on their vehicle to indicated which part of town they serve eg central, east or west etc. Have to bargain the price which can Bargaining is the way to go in indonesia (Never accept the first quoted price!!!) as as long as you're foreign the price usually got magnified a good few times...the sky is the limit for them rippers!Good luck...
