Large comfortable rooms with great panaoramic views in corner suites Is a bit hard to get to in peak hour, but that's Jakarta traffic for you. I was very pleasantly surprised by the Manhattan hotel, the rooms were of very high quality and furnishings of good standard. Moreso than many other Jakarta Hotels I have stayed in. It was reasonably good location to the clubs and shopping, however, with jakarta traffic being in central Jakarta can be quite painful to get to in the car.
Nightlife Tip : The Le Merdien which is quite close by has good reataurant and clubs. Saves you having to travel too far for good night out.

Moderate pricing, good security, good breakfast no friendly reception, Internet access is charagable, located in congested south Jarkata, Long walk to careful, no much night spot nearby. The hotel is located near centre of South Jarkata, take 10-15 minutes to reach nearby Carefour and some shops, no much nigth spot nearby.
The service for the hotel receptionist is not that friendly at least when I telling them I am using Agoda service, I did not print out hardcopy coupon but showing them the softcopy, the reception insist I need to print the hard copy to be valid despite she already view the softcopy.
At the end, I have to negotiate getting to have it printed in Business Centre in order finalise the checkin.
Shopping Tip : not a place for shopping

The hotel is clean, courteous staff and breakfast served has a wide selection. The hotel's location is quite far from shopping malls and restaurants. Wireless internet connection is only available in the lobby area. Wired internet connection in the room has to paid. I, with my daughter Michelle, arrived in Jakarta on the night of November 2. My husband is already there and have checked-in before we arrived. He said that his check-in was very efficient. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by the hotel's courteous staff. The hotel's reception area does not appear to be very welcoming because of subdued lighting (it could be brighter) but very clean. The room size is comfortable for three people. Everything in the hotel, staff, cleanliness, food are excellent except for the "not so good" internet connection in the room (considering that usage is paid). The hotel can improve their internet service and should be available to guests for free, even inside the guest rooms. It will be a very inviting amenity especially for businessmen,like my husband.
Hotel Feature Tip : Very wide selection of breakfast fare and food are always fresh/newly-cooked.

Location , staff , service , value for money , free internet Very well located hotel being situated in soi 6 which is around the corner from a whole series of entertainment venues and medium quality restuarants in soi 4.... Area where the hotel is quiet even though it is located in one of the main entertainment districts in Bangkok.... The hotel staff are very pleasant and extremely efficient..... The room was maintained and cleaned very well everyday.... Will definetly stay there again on my next trip.....

Near shopping mall and restaurant everything was perfect, nothing that I could say that Its bed...Really! When I first browsing at agoda website, I thought it was a scamp. I was wrong. I become confident when I found out that a lot of my customer that come to my Hair salon have make theirs hotel's booking through this website. I'm happy now that i don't have to worry about my accommodation every time and any time my family and I going for holiday. Thanks Agoda.
Shopping Tip : only 3 to 5 minute walk to the shopping mall.

Unfortunatley located away from the shopping area in what appears to be a commercial district of Jakarta. This was my first stay in Jakarta, dictated by my airline. I booked through Agoda on the internet because the write up sounded good. Unfortunately the hotel is a long way from the downtown shopping area. Its almost like an oasis in the middle of nowhere, but the rooms are huge and the hotel presents very well with tight security. There is a restaraunt on the third floor where they serve a comprehensive buffet breakfast, and a la carte at any other time of day.
Shopping Tip : Even though no hotel staff could confirm it, there is a shopping centre about 500m down the road. The Ambassador Shopping Centre is a multilevel building and covers everything from mobile phones, computers, clothing and food. Shops in the basement speciaise in copy DVDs etc.

- hotel atmosphere too simple A very good located Hotel for Business travel. business district as well as shopping facilities are within minutes of reach. The Hotel is equipped with big, clean rooms. The morning can start with a good quality breakfast, however the food selection favours the Asian/Indian/Arabic Clients. Caucasian will miss the 5 star design expected from such a Hotel. However helpful staff may balance a lot. It's in an adequate price range
Shopping Tip : Nice shopping mall in walking distance.

Facilities are good like having Gym with instructor , Pool side is great overseeing the uptown new Office toen,Mega Kunning unlike other hotel where office block facing the swimming pool side. Breakfas is just as good as there are typical Indian chief preparing simple meal on the spot. There are local meals available as well. western desert can be found with Chinese Dim sim. For bread lover, vegeterain bread accompany by a long range of bread. hotel staff is great to service you. Only though is the travelling time to get to the hotel as it is located at the busiest road with heavy traffic. Proper timely important to avoid this road at time(8:00 - 10:00 AM and 4:00 - 6:00 PM). When you request the taxi make sure the the driver speak english to safe your time.
Travel tip : There is mal near the hotel (Ampsdor) you can find restrent and supermarket

Comfortable minimalist rooms, unobstructed views of the Jakarta skyline, reasonably priced, good location - a mall is about 5-10 minutes walk The first room I stayed in was not cleaned well -- dusts gather below the desk, reception area is always undermanned so when you call, almost always you have to wait a few minutes before someone picks up the phone, they don't always use the fresh shrimps when I tried their fried rice in the morning. If you want a reasonably-priced hotel that is convenient and comfortable, this could provide a good choice. I would suggest getting a room that faces the street as the loudspeaker from the mosque in a village behind the hotel could wake you up. There is only a slight difference between the executive room and the much bigger corner room so the latter would be a better deal, especially if you need to work inside your room. Internet is Rph 100,000 per day which is probably cheaper than most hotels. I would consider using this hotel again.
Shopping Tip : Ambassador Mall and another mall beside it is where you find all gadgets. Try to walk there. Not many eating areas there though.

This is provided a good service in overall hotel facilties and room services. The room is kept clean all the while. Security is not an issue. Must know how to travel back to Hotel as it's located at the busiest road. Traffic can be a headache. Proper timely of returning to hotel will ease you. Overall experience the hotel has provided good services. Close to Ambassador mall and clean, attractive hotel Manhattan is a new hotel, located conveniently near the vibrant and interesting Ambassador shopping mall and close to the business district of Kuningan. Clean, modern bedrooms, a large bathroom and excellent city views make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The F and B outlets re excellent and a relaxed, informal atmosphere pervades. Unlike many similar quality hotels, one is not overwhelmed by staff, but the limited staff numbers are efficient, friendly and helpful. You do not feel observed and overwhelmed at Manhattan. Breakfast buffet is superb...
Shopping Tip : Great supply of cheap CDs, DVDs etc at Ambassador Mall ground floor
