Old and stuffy hotel. Food is just awful and of course over priced. Stuffy and dusty rooms, very small bathroom. It took the reception over one hour to check us out. And everybody else also needed a taxi, so we waited for 30 minutes and finally i just went out on the street 25 meters up stream and got myself a taxi. There is a small lounge bar which serves bad coffee and whatever else bad. Fair enough it is a cheap hotel, Will not stay there ever again.

I usually stay at the major hotels in Central Jakarta. I opted for this hotel as it was nearer to where my meetings would be held plus the rate was much better than that charged at the usual four and five star hotels. I requested for early check-in (I arrived at the hotel at 1030 hours) however as rooms were unavailable I made use of the Harmoni restaurant for meetings. Check-in was smooth and pleasant. Hotel location is good and Gajah Mada shopping mall is right across the road and many eateries nearby. Hotel is only six months old hence everything is spotless and well maintained. Hotel staff are courteous from bellboy to reception to restaurant staff. Request for housekeeping assistance was promptly met.
Room size was adequate and very comfortable with a modern, contemporary look and feel. Bedding was very comfortable. Good rain shower (no bath tub). Free wifi with good connection in room, lobby and lounge area - a definite plus.
It's become quite a popular place and I can understand why. Definitely good value for money and much more than what I expected considering the other four and five star establishments that I've stayed at in Jakarta over the years.
Room Tip: Request for high floor for better views and quieter feel.
