The hotel was at a great location close to central jakarta. The food from room service was ok and there were sufficient facilities (e.g. Pool, gym, restaurants, business center, etc.).
The food from room service was not great. The facilities were worn off (old), most of the staff were mediocer friendly (they did not go out of their way to make you feel comfortable), everything was expensive (a rip off to be accurate) e.g. exchanging money, hotel taxis, food, drinks, etc. There was no store/minimart close by. There was no ATM. Internet was expensive and had very few options.
All and all I was a bit disappointed. If it was half the price it could have been OK, I paid for it I should have got more value for money. I don't know how the other hotel's are in Jakarta but I definately do not recomend this place unless you get a really good deal. I mean, there's nothing really really wrong with the milenium, but it's just not quite worth the money you need to pay for it..
Shopping Tip : There's a free shutle (two-way) to some shopping mall leaving every evening from the hotel.

Professional hotel. Nice rooms. Good location.
Sterile pool area. Difficult to regulate the air condition in the rooms.
This was my second stay at this hotel and I think that I would like to come back. The hotel is good value for the money spent and the hotel is easily accessed with a central location. Rooms are spacious and perfectly equiped but aircondition in the rooms is a little difficult to regulate. The breakfast buffet is rich and served in the lovely decorated coffeshop. Sauna and fitness is nice, but the pool area feels a little uninviting.

The staff at the reception tend to ignore you if they are slightly busy. They tend to be unable to work under pressure
