Rooms - Comfortable, with all facilities expected from an international 5 star hotel.
Excellent dinning outlets.
Staff very well trained and efficeint. Given the room rates charged, in-room internet facilities should be free or at least chargeable at hourly rather than 24 hour rates. An excellent hotel, with good facilities and well trained staff, in a very convenient location. Locally managed but with standards equal if not exceeding international 5 star chains.

Staff are excellent , rooms superb. Never any fuss or issues on check in and internet is well priced and fast Nothing huge that stands out. CJ's is expensive but hey your choice to go in or not The Mulia does it well. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and obviously well maintained.
I dined at the Italian and Japanese restaurants and both of them were excellent however not to minimize these its still the enormous breakfast buffet that is just fantastic. You just cant miss it.
Staff are excellent , room service is fast and efficient and if you decide to wander into CJ's they normally have a pretty good band there although drinks are expensive.
This is one of the best hotels in Asia, I would rank it up there with Conrad Hong Kong.
Nightlife Tip : Up the road about 1km from Mulia behind TGI Friday is a great little friendly pub called Bugis. Nice little place.

Room layout and hotel staff service. Best breakfast spread in Asia.
Only one little thing - the hotel staff at breakfast comes to bother you while your eating, to get the signature for the bill. They should just leave it on the table and guests will sign it at their own time. Its a hotel that caters for business and vacation travellers alike. Rooms are spacious with quality fittings. Quiet, clean and well serviced. The breakfast is the best in Asia, selection to die for and good service.
CJ's night club is good but expensive.
Italian restaurant downstairs is excellent.
Mulia is probabaly best compared to Conrad Hong Kong in terms of hotel service and attitude.
Definitely stay here again and again
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Uop the road, tucked in behind TGI Fridays, is great little bar called Bugis - very nice friendly bar

Really lovely staff. CJ's disco is good if you want to act your shoe size. Italian restaurant is excellent.
Nightlife Tip : CJ's is good place; can be a bit noisy but has a more private bar at the side where it is quieter and less frenetic.

Service, cleanliness. A coffee shop open 24/24, a fitness salon / spa very complete with prices that remain affordable. None against, it's the best corner of the palace. I went for the 5th time in this hotel, because I always feel at home. Nothing to do with the Shangri La, Hyatt, etc. that offer true benefits of a 5 star, but without the heat of Mulia. One can spend an entire week without leaving the hotel without getting bored!
Restaurant Tip : The restaurant Il Mare is truly the best Italian in Jakarta, for those who want other things the Nasi Goreng. Also, try the Lobster Bisque's Coffee shop, a wonder!
