great location, good service

I travel by myself to jakarta and looking for a cheap uptown hotel, nearby the shopping mall and places I want to go. my hotel is a small hotel with all the facilities i needed for my holiday. thanks agoda for showing me this hotel as my home for awhile when i'm in jakarta.

once arrived at the hotel, my mom and i decide to stay for awhile here. we enjoy living here in my hotel, the staffs are good even though the room is not as clean as i expected. for further staying, i wish my hotel can pay more attention to the room cleanness.

the hotel is situated in a good location. however, due to the good location, the traffic conditions around the hotel is really bad. the traffic is hardly moving. the room is clean and comfortable

Friendly staff but facilities very basic

the hotel room is very basic (only bath towel and soap & shampoo dispenser)but clean. the air con in our room wasn't working properly and the toilet was easily choked but the hotel staff quickly came to fix them. the room bed was firm and comfortable. we have to use our room card to operate the lift.
the hotel also have a chinese restaurant on the ground floor, which seemed quite empty most of the time, but the food was quite delicious. the hotel receptionists were all very hospitable and helpful and so were the hotel porters.
we could flag down a taxi easily. there is a giant hypermarket next door and plenty of roadside food stalls along the side lanes and further down the road at mangga besar

A good place for short hotel stay as it is very convenient to move around. There is a supermarket just next door to hotel and many food places to explore.

overall I enjoyed my stay at Myhotel.
The location is good. I had no difficulty to tell taxi drivers the location. (If they don't know myhotel, just tell them it is next to SunCity then virtually everybody knows where it is) But i have to remind you that the hotel is situated in Glodok which is not the centre of Jakarta where there are main shopping malls like Grand Indonesia.
The staffs were helpful. They allowed me to change the room as I didn't like the room I stayed for a first day. They are mostly smiling as other people mentioned in the review.
The prices are competitive.
The hotel was new and clean. The facilities are new. Towels, linens are clean.
so as mentioned above, I enjoyed the stay at the my hotel.
PS
Some people mentioned about the smell from the toilet. For the second day I stayed, the toilet smelled like a sewage literally. But if I flashed a toilet several times, it stopped smelling. I think the problem of the smell from the bathroom were probably because of the toilet. If it smells really bad, flash it 5 times or something. then it would solve the problem. well at least for me it did.

Clean hotel.....super friendly staff

I am actually introduced this hotel by my customer whom is having a business in Ltc glodok.he told me that my hotel is the nearest hotel from his office. So I decided to book in the hotel.... When I check in, I found that the hotel is really new, the staff is so so sweet ans friendly. Only one thing that I am not really feel good is the shower water volume is less pressure. The air cond was installed in the wrong side in the room.....that's only ..overall....I feel really fantastic in here. Near to manga dua mall.....electronic suppliers....
Shopping Tip:
Manga dua mall, Ltc glodok & and some small small stall beside the road along the road of jalan haram wuruk. You can found some tasty snacks over there for only 500 rupiah...but it was the yummy snack I ever had....

Nice hotel and clean room as per budget hotel standard. Impress with Security feature on staircases and lift. No food at restaurant after 11pm. Generally is good. I will definitely come back again.

Hotel with very good location with clean room

even though some taxi drivers don't know this hotel probably because it's just new, the location is quite good. it's just right beside the mall and few other food establishments. it's very convenient to buy some food and groceries. the hotel is few kilometers from monas and also near the highway going to the airport. staffs are nice and our room is clean and looks very new. my only complain is the tv channels, they are very limited and most of them are in bahasa.
overall, we enjoyed the stay and i will recommend it to our friends.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Check-in to a hotel near Monas so it's not much hassle to go from the hotel. Traffic situation is very bad so you have to plan your itinerary.
