Good sized rooms
Convenient location Poor housekeeping
Slow and expensive internet Decided to stay here again as close to Ancol. Best feature is that it's located very close to lots of shops, Carrefour (for simple groceries) and easy to find food.
However internet is still expensive (Rph300,000 for 3 days) and is still slow even though they have upgraded the facility.
Room service is prompt, small ice bucket if free but big ice bucket costs Rph15,000.
Most dissapointing was that housekeeping did not replenish shampoo, shower gel for the 3 days that I was there. Luckily, i travel with my own.

Clean Hotel. Good swimming pool. Complete gym facilities. Security personnel at every floor. Access to each floor is controlled via card access. Their tourist information is not very complete., You would need to request for maps and brochures from their information desk. Food is generally more expensive within the hotel. However, there is a much wider selection of meals within the Mangga Dua Square itself which are cheaper than those in Novotel ie. Singapore Noodle House, Hanamasa, the Nasi Padang shops, etc.. Shopping within the Mangga Dua Square is not as wide in variety as that in ITC Mangga Dua which is within walking distance. WTC Mangga Dua - give it a miss. The hotel basically has its basic done right - comfortable rooms, efficient housekeeping crews, good security and a choice of dining. The pricing via agoda is also competitive vis a vis its 4 star status. Good hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to the MONAS and its attaching museum. well worth the visit

This hotel is priced very well compared to anything else you will find in Jakarta. There is a big mall attached that makes it convenient to find many resturants and of course shopping

If your unfamiliar with the hotel its hard to find your way around the square where its located. Looong hallways means a lot of walking to elevators for rooms towards the back so ask for a room near the elevator Staff were great and courteous. Best of all was the value for your money at this hotel. Loads of resturants and shopping in the mall attached to hotel

Good location, good service at swimming pool. Too noisy if the room face to road side. I have reserve non-smoking room, but they said not confirmed and not available when i check in. At same time, my colleague argue with them then he got upgrade to super deluxe non-smoking room because he can speak malay. I have change two times room due to noise problem and smoke allergic. It's my first time in jakarta, it's very bad impression.

Clean, Friendly staffs, Complete facilities, Nice pool and gym. Food was great. Is a great hotel to stay in. Staffs speak well english, and very friendly. The facilities is completed with Gym room, sauna, spa and swimming pool. Is all free for hotel guest. The room is clean and the interior is great. Will definitely stay in on my next visit to Jakarta.
Shopping Tip : Shopping is just next door. Remember to bargain.

Novotel Mangga Dua staff are efficient and helpful, esp. Ubay at reception. Map of hotel - where the exits from hotel lead to would be helpful for first timers like me.
I read in one of the reviews that the food at the hotel is not halal, thus didn't order/eat any from the hotel. Mangga Dua Novotel. The room that I had was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and efficient. The hotel is close to shopping mall and taking a cab from the hotel is not a problem. There are quite a number of eating place outside the hotel which is quite a bonus.
Restaurant Tip : Oh La La Bistro near the hotel is quite good and it operates 24 hours.

very nice and clean room, well trained staff. when we check out, it takes too long time.maybe this is problem of computer system... even if there are Cons, this hotel is very nice and I want to recommend my friends this hotel.If I stay Jakarta next time, I will use this hotel.

Novotel Mangga Dua is well situated to most shopping complexes and entertainment spots. Easy access to Ancol too. Overall, our 4 days stay was pleasant and we enjoyed every bit of it. Hotel staffs were always ready with our queries and demands. We needed a 3-pin plug for our laptop and they were prompt to provide it.
Downside would be the wireless service. Rather costly considering that the mall at Mangga Dua offers the same service for 1/4 the price.
Overall, a well-worth stay and highly recommended.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you plan on visiting nearby town, eg. Bandung, don't hesitate to ask the hotel concierge for help. We found the service remarkable help and assisted us in our stay in Jakarta.

Cosy and nice friendly staff and convenient location Need to upgrade the room service. Easy access, nice location and friendly staff and and good service provided. Good for business and family travel and near to shopping centre. Take 20 min drive to shopping area with night life entertainment and not far from airport.

It is a true 4 star hotel with 4 stars facilities and standard. The lobby is modern and spacious. The room is nice and clean. The bed is not just softness/hardness. The food is great but the price is on the high side. The swimming pool is nice and relaxing too. The hotel is located just off the elevated highway. Attached to shopping centre (an IT mall). For it's offered price, it is definitely worth to stay in this hotel. The bar/drinking place is well decorated, wide selection of alcohol, comfortable seatings but the band is awful. I have stayed in this hotel more than 10 times in the last 6 months and I will definitely stay in this hotel again and again whenever I travel to Jakarta.

location are very convenient to shopping waiting too long for check in the hotel location are very convenient , it locate on the mangga dua shopping mall... outside the hotel have a food stalls that selling all kind of food, from chinese foods to the local indonesian foods.. the security of the hotel are very good make me feel safe when i stay there , will definetely stay there again when i come for my next trip
