privacy, personalised service, wifi in room not facing pool, variety of breakfast spread can be better improved I have been staying at Novotel Manggua Dua for my Jakarta trip. For the last 2 bookings, I stayed at Level 9, Premier level where I have personalised services like check-in check-out at Level 8, wifi in room and laundry services etc. Response was pretty speedy except for engineering dept where the living lights needed to be repaired. it took me at least 3 calls to get it done. Overall, it has been a pleasant stay

1. Location is good as it's right in Mangga Dua for bargain hunters.
2. It's located within a complex that has a Carrefour, food stalls, DVD shops etc.
3. It's clean and spacious 1. Parking and alighting at the hotel lobby is very difficult.
2. The free internet kiosk was had very slow connection. We checked in on Thursday. The hotel staff was friendly enough to provide two cots for our kids and everything went smoothly the first night. Then on Friday night when we went back to our room late after being out the whole day, we were greeted with a loud music emanating from what we thought the room above us. We called the front desk and they sent someone to investigate and they told us it was from the karaoke/nightclub next door (the hotel is within a big complex). The staff offered to relocate us to another room away from the noise. Unfortunately the only room available was on the smoking floor. Although we could smell the cigarettes in the corridor, the room was fine and one couldnt tell that it was a smoking room, save for the burnt cigarette stains on the marble floor of the bathroom. Overall, good value for money and we'll stay there again. PS: the Mangga Dua shopping mall is accessible from the back door.
Restaurant Tip : There is a 24-hour restaurant next to the hotel, Ohlala Restaurant.

Great location, easy access to shops & restaurant. Room & breakfast is ok. More variety for breakfast Ideally located at one of the busiest town centre.
Easy access to shopping and restaurant! Room is ok, breakfast is good. Front counter staffs were friendly and helpful with our check-in although it took us quite a while to verify our booking.
Overall it is a great short stay, we will choose Novotel Mangga Dua Hotel in Jakarta again for our next stay as well as recommend it for our pals for sure!!!

Privicy, clean and peaceful environment. Internet rate quite expensive. I have no complain about Novotel Mangga Dua. The location is strategic and check-in process is amazingly efficient. I enjoyed my four days stay with no regrets. If I ever visit Indonesia again, I am definitely stay in the same hotel.

Shopping Tip : As I said the location is very strategic and shopping is just around the corner and more shops at the lower floors.

Attentive staff, very nice bedroom really functional.
The bedroom was a bit far, i mean corridor are so long, you have sometime to walk long time before to reach the bedroom, but it's ok, walk is good for health :)
Internet is very expensive ... The hotel is a good value. Well located, not far from department store (you have a Carrefour in the basement). Facilities are great, we enjoy the swimming pool, and restaurant (very good food). Well this hotel is making your life as easier as possible.
Restaurant Tip : You have a restaurant in the basement near Carrefour, called Oh lala. the resto deliver very good food in a very cosy environment.

The hotel is located in great location as there is good shopping, nice restaurant within the vincinity. The hotel is not far from Sukarno Hatta International airport, so no need to leave for airport hours in advance. In the evenings there are very good restaurants along the street just outside the hotel and the food is really good and very inexpensive.
Shopping Tip : Buy nice DVDs and shirts are very cheap prices.

Online rate is really a bargain for the comfort and service. Internet service is not too good. This hotel is really a good bargain for online rate. The facilities are excellent and the service provided is equivalent to 5 star hotel. The location is also very ideal as it's next to Mangga Dua Square and Ancol Theme Park. They have also upgraded the lobby area and now it looks very stylish. During the night, there are a lot of chinese restaurant operating outside till midnite.
The only down side is that their internet service is not that good and only certain room have good internet reception.
Nightlife Tip : The Sands Entertainment Center is just around the corner. The have karaoke, disco, spa, live band and massage facility.

very well presented, comfortable and very discreet and private. Workers are frindly and ver helpful! slightly mouldy toilets require through cleaning to make it look fresh and new! i booked for a superior room but when i arrived, it was given away to someone else. They upgraded me to an executive room instead! it was all smiles from then on. We were so satisfied that we booked to stay at Novotel during out trip to bandung the next 2 days.

Great location, beautiful hotel, great service This hotel was great to stay in for Jakarta. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were very spacious and clean. The bathrooms were nice as well. The hotel staff was very helpful and all of them spoke English well for the foreigners. We even left some luggage in Bandung and had the hotel help communicate our problem to the last hotel to get our luggage sent to Jakarta. Overall it was a great experience. Would recommend to anyone.

Everything you can image in such a big hotel, beautiful swimming pool, clean room, best location, and good service. Lifts not enough, we have to walk too far to go to the lift. I would reside in this hotel again. Maybe the price will be different but I like the location. Anyway, NOVOTEL is also famouse in other different cities.
Shopping Tip : WTC Mangga Dua is very near to the hotel.

Clean, cheap, and friendly service The Novotel Mangga Dua hotel was a great hotel for the money. Definitely a great value. The hotel is nice and clean, rooms are very spacious with large bathrooms, and the hotel service is very prompt and courteous. We had an issue with left baggage in another city, and the hotel staff helped translate to someone our issue and had the luggage shipped to us before the end of our stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Jakarta. Also attached to a shopping mall that has plenty to eat and also a grocery store if you need anything.

excellent service, clean, nice gym It was our first time in Jakarta so we were surprised when we arrived at the hotel & they required our bags to be scanned, as well as going through a metal detector before entering the hotel. Plus they had security guards on every floor. According to the staff this is normal procedure. The staff really go out of their way to help you in any way they can, I think this is true of most Indonesian people. The room is clean & quite spacious. The gym is large & the equipment is pretty new. The food & coffee in the lounge is good & reasonably priced. The internet was surprisngly fast but pricey (I think we paid 200,000 Rp for 24hrs). There is a fairly big shopping mall right next door.
