the staff are amazing the very friendly. but having a false fire alarm at 4 AM was unacceptable. not to mention that rain water got mixed with the toilet water was also unacceptable. the hotel location is nice but the facilities in general are not.

Exceptionally smooth service, that you don't find often in Indonesia. The workers new their dutys, spoke good english and everything was fast and efficient. Superb breakfast with all possible fresh ingredients in a peaceful location with a patio to enjoy your morning tea outside. Refreshingly unconventional design in interiors throughout the hotel, neat room with funny shower room. Massage in the spa was good, even the massageur spoke english so well that you could discuss the treatment properly. Nice wine bar in the lobby. the garden of central park shopping mall just outside the hotel is relatively small but well-maintained with beautiful fish ponds and walkways. Way back to airport took 23 minutes in the middle of a working day, amazingly fast, considering that the location is already in the city and the Jakarta traffic is normally a total disaster.

We made 2 days stop over in Jakarta and chose Pullman Central Park because it is relative close to CGK and in very near proximity of Jakarta's two big Mall. We plan to shop afterall. Maybe because its new, it is now very popular and seems to be always full.
We booked through agoda like a month before we arrived, but as we showed up, the room is not available as its full booked. They offer us smoking room instead which we refused. The staff then gave us an upgrade to excutive room which were much appreciated.
Fire alarm was activated during our stay very early in the morning (3:30 PM). There is no sign of explanation nor apology from the hotel management. No hotel staff calming the user down on our floor. After several time of calls via the one touch service (which is not busy), the oh-it-can-happen kind of answer was not satisfying at all...
