No wifi in the room and the staff was not friendly and helpful. They bothered a guest that just arrived from a 13 hours flight in the middle of the night to take away the mini bar just because they don't accept my visa debit card. They could have waited til the next morning at least.

The hotel does not feel like a five star. There's no wifi in the room and because they don't accept debit visa card, in the middle of the night the staff came to my room to take away the mini bar. They could have waited til the morning.

the hotel was nice on the inside, plain on the outside. the rooms were decently furnished, but probably the smallest room we have ever stayed in. everything was right on top of you and very little room to move around. listed as a 5 star, but not so sure of that rating, i would say more of a 4 star. not a bad property, just tiny room. very close to shopping and not far from airport.

Plenty of malls that have great restaurants

Service was prompt and very polite. Everyone had a smile on, and happy to answer any queries.
Bedroom was chic and modern, it is of a comfortable size.
Buffet breakfast was quite a spread as well, from japanese to western, to local mee soto

this hotel is being upgraded (from the previous nikko hotel).
the rooms are nicely done and it serves very well for business stay, with good internet and wifi throughout the hotel.
it is centrally located, with dining and shopping amenities right across the street - so that late dinners are easily accommodated.

the rooms are rather small but totally worth it compared to the neighboring Grand Hyatt or Kempinski. It's got great location, right across from Plaza Indonesia and Grand Indonesia. It's practically everything you need for a weekend trip in Jakarta.
The hotel food is a bit icky tho... I would recommend dining at the restaurants at either malls across the street or the line of restaurants behind the hotel.
