Large room, even for deluxe. King sized bed, wide toilet & bath, sumptuous breakfast buffet with variety of choices everyday. Clean rooms. Excellent value for money.
Complimentary in-room wifi was very slow and even broke down during our stay.
We enjoyed our stay at The Sultan. We loved the large room (even for deluxe), the king size bed, wide toilet & bath, sumptuous breakfast with a variety of choices everyday, clean room. Excellent value for money. Hotel staff very helpful even with slight language barrier. The only disappointment is the slow in-room wi-fi. Will definitely recommend to relatives and friends.

The room-
conncetivity to jakarta convention centre-
breakfast spread
Old type-
got room in old wing-
the room is very old type and huge. big campus- and not possible to get transport for o/s immediately.
Checked in at Sultan was good- but hotel is so huge- that have to walk a long way to reception from taxi drop point!! The room was good- but old design- Wifi is charged and linked line is free for room!! The convention centre is few min away and that is the only advantage to stay atthe hotel sultan. However for regular stay and eating outside- commuting is very difficult and that is biggest disadvantage of Sultan
Hotel Feature Tip : try and stay in new wing- that is much better-
but do not expect any service. There's none !!

The rooms are big and the hotel is huge
The staff is friendly. The hotel is a little old. Big swimming pool and have a pretty complete gymnasium. The only problem I face is that one will have to walk quite a distance to get a Bluebird taxi. It is located at another entrance. Silverbird taxi is available in the main entrance.
The toilet flush was not working. Had to get the plumber to fix it a couple of times.
