Close to beach Excellent breakfast. Attentive staff. Charming rice barn accommodation from outside. Close to town
Out-dated bathroom facilities , needs urgent attention.Air conditioner leaking onto bed. No gratis bottled water.
Is is possible to love a place that is decrepid? I think so. When we arrived at The hotel we were ushered to the older worn section across the road near the beach. Strangely despite the privations of the rice barn room with a poor bathroom facilities and a leaky air con, we loved the location ,the atmosphere , the location and the very attentive staff ( especially Rauoll). Do a makeover and keep the old style and this will be a hotel we will always come back to.
Restaurant Tip : Make sure you go to the Asmara restuarant in town- top notch cuisine and cheap

Hotel split over road. Staff.
This hotel is located just out of the main Sengggigi area which makes it a bit quieter than the nearer ones & the shopping, eating area is still well within walking distance. No more than a couple of hundred metres.The staff in the dining area on the beach side are not very interested in the sevice side of things & prefer talking to each other instead of doing their job.

Dining staff & bathrooms.
When we stayed at the Graha Senggigi, we occupied a superior room which put us on one side of the road & our friends who were staying in a standard room on the other side of the road.Breakfast was also served on the other side of the road.The room was ok.Large & with plenty of hanging space.The bathroom could do with a bit of work, as it appeared a bit shabby. There were no complimentry coffee,tea,ect.There wasn't even a jug.Also missing was bottles of drinking water.If a hotel can't supply drinkable tap water, it should supply bottled water.The staff in the dining area were not very enthusiastic & were just going through the motions.The location of the hotel is good. Right on the beach, good swimming, but an undertow you need to be aware of & walking distance to cafes & other shops.
