A la Carte food was very good, the Chef was very friendly and competent. The staff are all helpful and friendly sand on the beach was very coarse, rooms were not so clean. The buffet ( as opposed to a la carte) is of poor quality The sand on the beach is coarse and hurts your feet! The water in the bays surrounding the hotel were concentrating rubbish which led to an unpleasant swimming experience. I was shocked that other people had praised this hotel so highly. no offense but where were these guys staying before. If you know what 4 or 5 star experience should be like dont even bother with this hotel

Secluded, sandy beaches, beautiful scenery, relaxing, nice walks. Nothing outside the hotel, a couple of restaurants in Kuta, but Kuta is very small and basic, We enjoyed our stay,the beach at the hotel and scenery, are great, just switch off and kick back.

the beach, the staff, and the beautiful grounds Nothing really - the town is very limited in terms of dining and drinking, but that's part of the appeal. We stayed at the novotel lombok for 4 nights, and it was a great stay. Kuta beach, where it is located, is incredibly serene and beautiful. The staff were good and the breakfast was very nice. we'd return.
Travel tip : Rent a motorbike and ride up the coast. Stunning.

Clean beach and entertainment Too expansive, and nothing is around Good cultural programm, trained staff, good food all make your staying not really boring...Local people are friendly and do not spoil your vacations by begging or trading...Try breakfast on the hill and Asian buffet, they are really good....Aquaaerobics is fun, as voleyball...No major problems...though spa is not really that good...especially if you compare it to those on Bali

Delightfully designed in a way to stimulate your senses, we recommend paying the USD $50 upgrade fee for the beach villas. Great value for money, this resort offers everything for those wishing a getaway to the beach and surrounds. Beautiful beach and lovely mountains surround this hotel If you catch the gilli cat its 2 hours to the hotel and you will need to organise a car with the hotel and there are no taxis around. wow! its so beautiful and the design of the hotel is african/bali inspired. They had great cocktails made from coconuts ie pina coladas.Its very isolated 1-3 days would be enough you might get island fever its very remote and there isnt much to do except to relax which is not a bad thing and sports activities like diving and kayaking.The food gets repetitive as there is no where else to go. Overall it was such an amazing location and a great place to relax and unwind!

The atmosphere of the hotel is very nice and beautiful view , the foods are also exciting
The communication between agoda and the hotel was not proper , so we found some difficulties during check in ,and also we are surprised when took a breakfast one room was charged and the other room is included (we took 2 rooms for 2 nights )

Trainees without instructor. Great and perfect stay at the Novotel. Good address for a relaxing holiday. Nice and clean standard rooms. Good pools and also a great beach. Every night different food and programs. During the day you can join many sport activities, also diving and surfing. At low tide it's difficult to swim at the beach, but the pools are also good. Traditional and modern music and dance in the evening. Great candellight dinner at the beach. Good Cocktail bar where is great stay at the night.

If you really want to get around the town and explore Lombok city, this may just be a shade too far. But if you want to just have a nice beach vacation, prefer this over Sengiggi beach.
