* Not too many varieties of items for breakfast We stayed in mid August 2009 for three days and two nites in Pool Villa. As the villa is so comfortable and luxurious, we didn't go anywhere for the first two days. We just stayed in and enjoyed the hotel's facilities.
The hotel is adjacent to and in the same complex as Sengigi Beach Hotel, where there's a kids playground and club and a much better beach and beachfront restaurant than the ones in Pool Villa. We walked over to the Sengigi Beach Hotel area during sunset time and enjoyed sunset from the Sengigi beach hotel beach. The beachfront restaurant that serves Italian food had live music from 5pm on, and it was just a great experience to be sipping drinks by the beach while listening to great accoustic live music.
We weren't too fond of the breakfast menu, because it lacked some of our favorite items. And it turns out that what you see is not everything they can serve ie if you want pancake or bacon or sausages, you have to ask the attendants and they will order them for you at no extra cost.
The staff is helpful and they are willing to do some grocery shopping for you at a close by store if needed.
We had an overall fantastic time here and would definitely come back again.
