Nice hotel. Our room was very big and the pool is clean and fresh. The breafast is delicious, you have to try the orange juice. The staff is smiling and nice to you, but they are trying so much to be nice by always talking to you it can be annoying. Be sure to leave the "do not disturb" sign on the door if you want peace, as they make the room twice a day (!!). They knocked at our door at 7pm for housekeeping one night...
But overall, we liked our stay. The beach is just across the street: you see the sea from the breakfast tables and you have your lunch or diner with your feet in the sand, watching the waves!
Restaurant Tip:
Watch out for mosquitos at night, and there are a lot of flies in all the restaurants on the Island.

comfortable hotel with a friendly staff
the rooms are comfortable and clean, good breakfast facilities, the staff friendly and ready to help at any time, the location of the hotel is so far away from the bustle that make the atmosphere calm

stay at the villa Almarik only 1 night was very enjoyable
the staff were friendly and the atmosphere is quiet and comfortable making us feel at home in the room
tap water does not taste too salty so do not make sticky body
TV must be replaced because it is outdated
my advice, please equipped with bath tub so it makes customers more comfortable and happy
please beds replaced with the latest models
but overall this hotel is very nice and recommended for couples who want to vacation in Gili Trawangan

if you want to a frenetic atmosphere and bustling lodge at hotels near the pier
but if you want to stay comfortable in a quiet yet convenient location then choose a bit far from the dock to the right

Lovely hotel, great location, not too far from everything. Gili T would have to be one of my most favorite places on earth, and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Hire a bike and ride around the island, it's absolutely amazing

Great hotel with friendly service
Spacious, good diving centre, and only a short walk to night life while still maintaining the quietness.

Located on the northern end of the east coast, much quieter but only a very short walk to the night life. Villa was spacious, clean, and very accommodating. There were a few delays with the laundry, but it wasn't a huge deal. You do hear the mosque call several times a day, and to be honest, it didn't really bother us that much. However, if you are a light sleeper, you might want to consider some earplugs. Restaurant was okay, there are some better ones around the main attractions as well as further up north. PADI diving is located within the resort, and they are very friendly, 5 star diving cetnre and will accommodate you well. The beach is right outside the hotel, and you can go snorkelling or just sunbathe at your own leisure. Our aircon towards the end wasn't really working, but we never really brought it up because this was towards the end of our stay.

Very nice place with high quality accommodation, probably the best beach in the front, mostly grown up couples and families with a young children. Staff very nice and welcoming. Western management definitely bring its touch on detail.
Restaurant Tip:
Even the pizzas on the menu are good.

I stayed this hotel year end, and the price are high everywhere - gili is one of the expensive place in Indonesia. I think it's kind of good hotel in Gili, but I would try another hotel next visit. it was ok, but nothing special.
