Nice Hotel
Big rooms, beautiful barhrooms, clean and very friendly

This hotel is directly on the beach, where you can snokel and swim with turtles if you are lucky.
The hotel is very nice, they serve great breakfast and they have a restaurant on the beach for lunch and dinner. The room was big with a beautiful bathroom, everything was clean and we had free dringking water in the room. The staff is very friendly and try to help you with all your needs. We would choose this hotel again.

In the quieter part of the island,but also easy to get into the busier areas with western restaurants. Good staff and great breakfast. The rooms are nice and spacious, and the building is also quite new.

Great villa and huge room
The room is huge n clean. They provide a good service. The location a bit far from the center but it's a small island, nothing us too far there

Great Hotel on the Island

This hotel was a bit pricier than some of the others, but it was definitely worth it. The resort has its own scuba guide who was very good. Note, prices on gili t are pretty much fixed between all the vendors. Our villa was great, really clean and quiet at night. The resort is on the north side of the island, a short trek from the main action. We rented bikes for the whole time we were there which made getting around really convienent . Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. They have tea time out at the beach between 4 and 5 each day. The only negative was that our bathroom had a weird smell, but other than that the place was great.

Friendly staff but outdated.

when we arrived we were not too sure how far it was even though we decided to walk it was a little too far with luggage. Located at the other end of the busy strip it was still easy to access everything by foot or bike. Even though the rooms were large they an intimate feel and were a little outdated. A small older style TV was hard to see from the bed. One thing which was not offered was free snorkeling gear which I feel should have been included as the hotel price was relatively high. We did not eat or drink in the hotel other than the complementary breakfast and the reason was it lacked atmosphere. We would not stay at this hotel again as it was too expensive and outdated.

great location
next to a beautiful beach

the hotel is nice and the rooms are large. The snorkling outside the hotel is amazing. I saw a large turtle. It is a quiet area, but not too far from the main drag of Gili.

Great hotel, very large rooms!

This hotel is located on the north east tip of the island with a strip of beach for hotel guests only. We found the snorkeling at this location to be amazing, with quite a bit of sea life and coral to see. Rooms were perfect - very large and specious. Would come back again!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a visit to the Irish bar in the evening - always a good craic!

We stay 2 nights with 2 kids, the room was clean and comfortable. The extra charge for the kids I think it was expensive.

Great location, shame about the service
Best location for snorkelling

The best thing about this hotel is the location, right on your doorstep is the best spot for snorkelling. Everyday my partner and I saw turtles. Bring sea shoes as there is quite a bit of coral.
The welcome we received on arrival was excellent, however the service at breakfast everyday is sub standard. Staff look as though they don't want to be there, service is very slow. Simple requests such as poached eggs on brown toast instead of white, is met with a yes, but when it turns up......white toast? This is what lets the hotel down. One day they completely forgot my breakfast. They need to keep the buffet breakfast restocked too. Often there would be no fresh juice left, bakery. Have to ask, again another long wait.
Received a free 20min welcome massage, was excellent. The rooms very spacious, if not a bit dark, however I did sleep very well. Bring earplugs as can hear the local mosque at 4.30am in the morning.
Overall we were slightly disappointed, there are nicer places to stay on, the grounds and reception need more maintenance. However the great location for snorkelling made our stay enjoyable.
Restaurant Tip:
Kokomos restaurant for delicious steak and nice wine. Scallywags another favourite spot, great cocktails, desserts and BBQ.
Horizontal is a funky bar, it was always empty but we sat and had cocktails and finger food, which was delicious and the staff were very friendly, give it a go.
