we were given a non smoking room which was on a floor where everything had been superbly refitted - we changed room because we had forgotten to specify it - so we moved to a non refitted room which was in older style but still very nice. Staff were very helpful all the time in all areas, reception, lobby, carpark, restaurant and room service.

this hotel located on the main street and in the center of town. nearly to find anything you needs. foods store, mall, restaurant, and others only a few minutes to reach. the building of this hotel is old enough. breakfast menu have many variety of foods, indonesian and international menus, e.g: 'bubur ayam', fried rice, cake, etc.

I know that this is an old hotel and I am ready not to expect to much. But surprisingly that the room is big and well maintain. And I think this hotel is just renovated.
Beside the location of this hotel is easy to find and close to the center of Malang. So I will surely back to stay @ this hotel when I go back to Malang.

The hotel is located strategically near a supermarket and restaurants. The service provided by the hotel staffs are excellent and polite. The room is clean and comfortable. I was surprised to see that there is a bath tub inside the room, which is another plus point for having a bubble bath on your vacation. I especially enjoy the cafe at the lobby since there is a live music while I dined there.

This hotel was bad value for money. I would try a different hotel if I was in malang again. The bathroom in the room was very old looking and in general the room had a dark feel to it, the pool had seen better days and had a broken lamp almost hanging into it by an electrical wire! Given the hotels poor quality it should have been much cheaper !
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Malang is a good place to get a tour to bromo, sunrise tours were very good - google them !
