We find an excellent deal with agoda otherwise the hotel is pretty expensive. We stayed in a standard room which was big and clean. The only thing we disliked was the carpet however since the room are non smoking this wasn't so much an issue. Overall we had a very nice stay and the breakfast was really amazing!

This is the best hotel in Manado but not 5 star

I've been staying at this hotel for the last 5 or 6 years. The menu for westerners is limited and they seem to run out of things all the time. The real pain is that they seem to run a lot of local conventions etc which means they close the only restaurant to guests. Or they run local gatherings in the carpark , requiring loudspeakers to be tested at 3am or military helicopters being landed at 9am. Also seems like a sign on your door for "Do Not Disturb", always requires them to then just wake you up by calling your room phone.
The staff are friendly, hard working and dedicated but they are inexperienced and clearly have no management by internationionaly experienced hotel managers.
All that said,, I continue to stay there, it's Indonesia, it's Manado, how much can you expect. Take a good sense of humor, embrace "Rubber Time" and just relax and go with the flow.

The front desk people dont know what they were doing including the GM... They put me in the room where already have other guess then they kick out the guess and ask me go check in at the room without they clean the room !! and it takes one hour to fix all problems ??
