The front desk staff was not prepared when I was checking in. I have to call my staff in Jakarta to send them Agoda's email. The rests are average for a business hotel.

This hotel is used to be the best hotel in Medan, but that was decades ago. time has changed. I would not recommend to stay in this hotel. with the same amount of money, you can get a better hotel.
they really need to upgrade on the room & facilities.
Restaurant Tip:
try the crystal jade at the Ground Floor.
that's one of the best Chinese restaurant in Medan.

This hotel must stay in grand room after renovation. Room very big is worth for value money. No regret at all. Hotel feature is good for business meeting due to meeting ball room is big enough as well as cafe lounge.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Coffee house for night dinner buffet is delicious food and beverage. Even in supper dinner buffet very good taste although serve not much food in counter but mostly provide good taste Asian supper buffet.

I enjoy the stay during my business trip, as this is my first time to visit Medan. I also found that the hotel is located in a very convenient situation, so I got no difficulty to access to my business destination. Breakfast was ok, so far I don't have difficulty to find place for dinner, too.

Clean rooms although furniture and bathroom are old. Television is flat screen which makes room looks newer. Carpet, bathroom ceramics, shower wear and tear are very noticeable. Club room offers high tea which are breads and cakes, and Indonesian fried bananas. Food are cold. Usual local management. No focus on details.

Room was newly renovated. It's nice and clean. The bed was comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast is good, but the restaurant itself is annoying because of cigarette smell. They should be strict about smoking regulation. Staff was really friendly and helpful.
