Still a great hotel to stay in Medan
Near to Cambridge Mall and in the city center of Medan

This is my second time that I stayed in Grand Swiss Belhotel Medan. Still have an excellent service. One thing that troubled me is the airport pick up. Because there was delay in my flight schedule I have to wait for the airport pick up. The airport authority in Medan announce that the flight would be late for an hour and a half, but actually it only delay for less than an hour. So when I arrived I have to wait for around 30 minutes.
Everything else is great! I can watch the Champion's league final in the Bar on 26th floor with great atmosphere. For sure I will stay in this hotel again!
Restaurant Tip:
There are a lot of great eating place near hotel. If you like hawker food, just walk behind the hotel, you will find a good Seafood Kueytiaw which only cost around 25 thousand rupiah

Great Location
close to the airport and connected to the mall

We had wonderful stay while waiting for our evening flight. Only takes about 10-15 minutes to the airport.
Shopping Tip:
1. The hotel connected to the mall with the access straight from the lobby1
2. If you travelling with young children they have a playground inside the mall

The best thing about this hotel is its location. There is no problem with food and shopping as it is just beside the mall. There is also good selection of food for the buffet breakfast. Overall, room is clean and comfortable and the staffs are very efficient.

I arrived early at 9.30am, got my room 2 hrs later. The room is big, clean, with good view of the city. Most of the amenities are included, the one which does not like iron can be requested from the room service. Wifi is free, decent speed. Bed is very comfortable. Toilet bowl uses water jet (paper is also provided), so it is environmentally green. There is a mall next to the hotel with many nice restaurants and a supermarket. Another bigger mall is 20 minutes' walking distance away. The hotel has a massage center, pub and music lounge. Breakfast has good selection of food, not the top class of food, but good enough.

The location of the hotel is very good. However, the biggest problem is always having difficulties to get the signal for mobile phone. Always having problems to contact everybody through mobile phone. Overall, is good.

great location, just next to Cambridge shopping centre, an upmarket shopping centre

we loved the buffet breakfast, the spread was really good and food was delicious. there were western and asian food available. the bed was comfortable and the room was quite big with full length windows so the views were fantastic. only thing is just be careful with laser beams from the streets at night.

Very great location, connect to Cambridge mall, which has many restaurant, supermarket, and kids game zone. The room is big, n the bathroom also big. The breakfast has plenty different of food. We spent 3 night there, n really satisfied.
Shopping Tip:
U just have to walk for looking Zulaikha the most famous bika ambon cake from medan

A good hotel with staff being very good
The rooms were good and the reception staff very good as nothing was a problem

I enjoyed my stay felt safe, staff were extreemly helpfull, the room and bathroom was good
Shopping Tip:
I vistied to see the city did a little shopping for some antique so that was OK will come back again to see more of the country and travel up to the lake
