nice design, comfortable bed, and clean shower room, nice television set.
15 minutes from the airport by taxi, and good value for money.
the lobby for drop off is not big and comfortable enough for driver, so it is a bit uncomfortable if you drive your rental car.

The hotel in it self is a nice hotel, the restaurant is nic and the staff in the restaurant are very serviceminded. The staff in the reception, however, is another story! We had several problems, and all in all the hotel staff and managers couldn't care less. They have no idea about service or how to keep their guests happy or feel welcome. That sucks and is unproffesional.

i really enjoyed my stay at the swissbel hotel. the rooms were great, service excellent, and the breakfast was sensational. this is a great value 4 star hotel. swimming centre and gym is very good.just be aware that it is a popular venue for functions, so at peak times the lifts get quite a workout carrying outside visitors to the function centers. the roof top restaurant is quite an experience and gives great views of the city.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel is very close to the airport and a convenient landing point before heading to Danau Toba.

stayed here for 1 night, the hotel was busy and after a wait to check in, couldn't be given a room with a double bed or a non smoking room. i guess if they are busy, they are busy. rooms was good standard, probably here or the marriott are the best hotels in medan. the breakfast was good, the wifi was good, the rooms excellent. the location next to the shopping mall was perfect.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You can enjoy food at many of the coffee shops in the mall attached to the hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are big and spacious but we could not get a room with interconnection doors because the rooms are already occupied even though we had requested for it earlier. The location is good because it is right next to a shopping complex. The swimming pool is superb and the gym are also located right next to it. There is also many choices of food for breakfast. But this hotel is a bit pricey compared to others.

Stayed in this hotel for 1 night only but the experience was very good as the staff were very polite and spoke decent english.
The room was also well equipped with all the modern facilities and very nicely designed. A mall is next to the hotel so it makes it easy to shop and look for food but nearby the hotel there is a street nearby about 400m away where there is a lot of local food available.
