i arrived off a flight early and ill -check in time is 2pm but i arrived around 10 am
they did their best and got my room ready so i could crash and sleep the day away.
the room was what i expected after such professional treatment

Although the stay was very enjoyable however, Agoda and their partners should work together more closely in acquiring more information about the stay. One such experience was with the booking, as the booking didn't state whether it was a single occupant when I requested for a king size bed, the request was rejected because it wasn't stated in my booking with Agoda. I was given 2 single beds for the duration of 3 nights for my stay in Swiss Belhotel.
Hotel Feature Tip:
One of the best thing was the bathtub which is not available in many 5 star hotels in Medan.

Decent all round hotel - for the price

Spent a few lazy days in Medan - literally ran out of things to do/see after 2 days. Turns out everyone only pitstops in Medan on their way to Toba. Went to all the museums (don't bother!).
The hotel in itself was decent. Nothing flashy, but acceptable cleanliness, acceptable furnishings. Generally acceptable. We had some ants in the bathroom, but nothing seriously major. Located next to a mall which was convenient.
Breakfast was extensive, but the menu was exactly the same for the whole stay. Quality was decent.
The hotel has a rooftop restaurant which has amazing views at night. Food was really rubbish and not worth the money though.
Shopping Tip:
Make sure you go to the Pasar Ikan for fabrics.

An area which shopping and food is of abundance. Varieties of shopping and food available within 5-10 mins away. The service level of the staffs were a little disappointing as they were a little rude and unorganised about my bookings, stating that there wasn't mentioned of anything during the bookings and that they couldn't do much about it to rectify the matter.

from the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, you get a welcome drink for everyone in your party and they try to check you in fast and efficient, the rooms had great views and were very comfortable, the spa was fantastic and reasonably priced and the showers in the room were fantastic, at breakfast the the food selection was great and the staff were always friendly and willing to just have a chat about everything, i recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in medan as its location is fantastic and its one of the tallest buildings around so the views are great.

a really good hotel for a really good price with agoda. we were not aible to book the hotel by internet because of powercuts. at the reception the price was more than double then the agodaprice. so they gave us internet and we made the booking by agoda. rooms are very good. the internet is free and fast. swimmingpool small but beautifull. the bar with life music was fun and the location is perfect. the breakfast is huge anything you can think of is there.
