the hotel are extremely good. can beat the JW Marriot in Medan, the view are very nice, the foods was awesome, and the service at the counter are also great. overall i am very happy and surely will return to this hotel if i visit Medan in the future.

The Hotel Aryaduta was absolutely beautiful. The decor is one of a kind. If you have a few days in Medan you should stay here as it has the perfect pool for you to swim and relax in. They also have pool service for drinks and snacks. The restaurant is also very lovely – with a patisserie you need to try. The service here was very good!
Shopping Tip:
Check out the ZenGarden spa - it was very relaxing. They are quite firm so maybe ask for soft option :o)

the room are spacious but we would have preferred to have a bigger bathroom. there was no bathtub.
their is a shopping mall in the same building but most of the shops were closed at the time. however, sunplaza, the biggest shopping centre in town is only 5 min away.
the breakfast buffet had a good variety of asian and western style breakfast. the quality of the bread was quite good. i didn't expect small bread rolls (brötchen).
Nightlife Tip:
Head over to Capitol Building (5 min) to experience some local nightlife.

Lovely Hotel in the center of city

The Hotel is located in center of Medan City. It has lovely hotel lobby, nice view restaurant and side pool cafe. The hotel is also very close to shopping mall. The room is quite wide, but poor of facilities.

The Hotel is good but the fasility is not complete, there is no Sauna.

if u like chinese food, there a restourant name guang zhou, placed on the mall the top of the building

great location,service, food,value for money rates charged.I found the staff professional and friendly.Food outlets especially the breakfast spread with lots of variety to choose from was generous.In addition the rooms were clean and so was the toilet which was perhaps a bit too large.The hotel was also well known among taxi drivers,in addition to shopping mall.
