Rooms were a little dirty and hot water wasn't available all the time. The bed was not comfortable and the keycards for the door was really an unpleasant experience. It wasn't working all the time.

Spacious hotel with free shuttle service
Spacious, comfortable bed, free shuttle service to Palang Merah Hotel Citi, & Airport

we were in a group of 5 and were happy to have such a huge family unit, with 3 separated rooms in it.
the toilet wasn't the cleanest we have seen but everything supplied was sufficient for us.
6 bottles of drinking water, 2 tvs, water boiler and hair dryer were well-equiped.
breakfast was very simple and quite oily.
wifi available in the lobby area.
all hotel staffs are very polite and helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
When travelling in Medan City centre, just keep the bluebird taxi's call number handy. Bluebird is the only taxi companies who follows taxi meter. You dont need to hire a driver in the city center.
Suggest to book at least a night stay by the lake toba area, else there's nothing much to see in Medan.

The hotel is not so good as other people said, located in the heart of Medan town not far from the airport, the hotel with one kind of smell,, bedroom with the insecticide poison tablet that give you bad smelling to protect the room from cockroach
and rats,old carpets and the toilet without door,, use only curtain as the toilet door, not suitable for family with kids,
difficult to get the taxi from the hotel but the trishaw reksha so many waiting in front of the hotel to have ride,,
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the shopping area about 45 minutes with heavy traffic by taxi from the hotel,

there's reading corners with books, magazines .. for free reading, with warm chinese culture decoration. Hotel also provides free airport shuttle. the best part is shuttle schedule is flexible according to guest's flight departure time.

The staffs are friendly, they will always try to help my needs. There is a free shuttle bus to airport, or any places in city so it can save your money. There is also a massage center nearby with affordable price. What I dislike is the cleanliness of the room, got some bad smell, the towel was also stink.
Shopping Tip:
take the free shuttle to Sun Plaza, the best mall in Medan.

very strategic place for food lover, can try many local specialties just walking distance ...days or night,,,just name it .....nice hotel room. and good view of Medan city.

Room is rather old. Locate at isolated place. Hard to find food at the walking distance from the hotel.
