Citi In is one of the best budget hotel in Medan. I like its big room, relatively goods location in China Town. It will hard to find other Hotel in Medan that can beat its value for money.

Best staff I have encountered at a hotel.

the accommodations might have been 3 stars but the service was five stars!! i stayed two nights after hiking lake toba. the staff was so friendly and so accommodating! the room was ok. but i paid for ok so was pleased with it. the free breakfast was above and beyond what i had expected! if u want to partake i would recommend getting there b4 9 to get the best selection. i def feel that i got more than what i paid for with this booking!
Travel tip:
Medan can be a rough city if u r foolish but if u have a good head on it shoulders take the opportunity to explore a bit. I found the city and it's people quite charming.

Good location in Chinatown

The hotel is located in the chinatown area of Medan. There are plently of food stalls and chinese restaurant in the nearby area and therefore finding foods are not a big problem. However, the hotel did not pick up from the airport even though reminder had been sent twice before the check-in date.

hotel with a chinese deco at lobby. the hotel room with a comfortable bed. simple bathroom with a multifuncion stuf. you can see the view of medan city from your room. or you can go on top to enjoy it, much beuty if you enjoy it at nite. this hotel very near to foodcourt. one of the famous street foodcourt. you should try. just behind the hotel.

citi international is one of my favourite budget hotel in medan, others are myhotel and hermes hotel. it has a good value for money and good location in the china town. you can easily find chinese food in jose rizal street. the room is also big.

Rooms were a little dirty and hot water wasn't available all the time. The bed was not comfortable and the keycards for the door was really an unpleasant experience. It wasn't working all the time.
