Great 5 Star Hotel

JW Marriot Medan is great 5 star hotel with great location. It is very near to merdeka walk and other spot in Medan.
What i like the most is the food at restaurant buffet. They are very nice, they have wide variety of selection and taste great. Overall, i think this hotel is the most recommended to stay when you are travelling to medan
Restaurant Tip:
Nelayan Restaurant is very nearby. They have great seafood, with very reasonable price.

Weekend at J.W Marriot
Excellent buffet breakfast

stay for the weekend.. the view from the swimming pool is great, but wonder why the water's salty.
The room is big and have a lot of TV channels, ammenities.
Love the buffet breakfast so much, alot of varieties..
Great for weekend escape..

from the friendly & ever willing to help staff, to the luxurious ambience, to the absolutely well maintained & furnished rooms, to the sumptous breafast buffet, to the great health club facilities....it was a truly a very very satisfyg stay

it was a stay worth far more than what we paid for, especially as the buffet breafast was a feast in itself & inclusive of the price. Even adding on an extra bed, as a last minute addition, was so very reasonably priced. i truly would love to stay at the JW MARRIOT again. It was in every way an international 5 star hotel
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
A stay at Danau Toba is a must preferably at Samosir. It is easily accesible by road, a perfect place to unwind & soa in the beauty of nature

We have a great time for shopping, dinning and playing. Because the position of the hotel is nearby with the mall . The hotel room is quite nice and clean with nice view directly to the medan town so we could see nice happy crowd at afternoon and a nice night view with a beautiful colorfull light

I have repeatedly stayed at this hotel, since the price you pay for the luxury, service and amenities are second to none!
Try it at least once to know it!

i travellin with my business partner to medan. real tired day there but have a great experience in this hotel. good location near many place in medan and also have big room make me easy to move around. complete room amenities and bath room amenities. the price not too expensive. restaurant have a nice food

Im a returning customer to JW marriott. Im a frequent visitor to marriot and im always satisfied for every nite i spent in marriot. The room is big unlike most competitors in medan. Everything else is superb. very recommended

The JW Marriott is simply the best hotel in Medan. It's a real luxury hotel that would cost 10 times more in some other countries. Everything was perfect, from the very moment we checked in till we checked out. Awesome breakfast, large rooms and comfy beds. I can't see any downsides in this hotel.
Nightlife Tip:
If you are undecided about where to go dining, go for the Merdeka Walk. There are plenty of clean and safe restaurants open till late, lots of people and not so many tourists.

Superb hotel
The staff undersatnding of guest needs

I arrive at the hotel at around 8.30am and the reception staff let me check in eventhough the check in time is at 12 noon. Very thoughfull because if not I have to wait like almost 4 hours.
Very well maintained hotel, beautiful pool and nice spa facilities.
I check out at 2 pm without any problem eventhough the actuall check out time is 12 noon.
Very relaxing outing and I will come again for sure.

Restaurant Tip:
I went to Koli Sunda Restaurant for "Buka Puasa" and the food was delicious. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends visiting Medan in the future.
