Excellent!!
Overall is good. Its value for money. The rooms are excellent and services are good. Breakfast at the coffee house has good spread of food and beverages.

Overall the hotel was best in services. Location wise was indeed excellent close to main tourist area especially shopping and food. The scarce availability of taxi was a negative point as my experience was the difficulty in getting taxi to move around timely. Staff were good and courteous.Night live was a little bored at the hotel as there were not much entertainment for in-house,and children.

Great hotel in Medan
New, good rate and good F&B

New hotel in Medan, Rate is still very competitive. Good spread for breakfast and inclusive withe the room. No free internet and relatively expensive to sign up connection. the room is spacious, new and very comfortable. Would stay there again while the rate is still good. the staff is friendly and efficient. Taxi is not readily available.

I got a promotion price from agoda.
It was marriott value itself. Good food, well trained staff, very detailed management.
With good price I enjoyed two night stays in Medan. Even though very tight security check, the mood in hotel was very cozy and comfortable.
Nice stay in Marriott medan.

Luxurious yet competitive hotel
The perfection of a luxurious hotel..Marriott assured the quality and services to its best. Well located at around 500meter from Merdeka square Medan.

The Marriott in Medan is indeed a luxurious type hotel..marbled bathroom with high class amenities..clean and tidy to details.. The room is spacious come with crispy linen and high bed complete with pillows.. All details are perfect for both business and leisure travelers.. The breakfast is prepared to the highest standard, both American/European style and Eastern breakfast including Indonesian style breakfast..
Surprisingly the rate is cheap, this kind of hotel will be at least 150US$ elsewhere..

Excellant Option in Medan
Very nice hotel right near the airport. Affordable, staff are very friendly often even remembering your name. The gym is one of the best I've see. The restaraunt in the basement is nice - weekends with live music.

Hotel was fantastic
Hotel room was huge and very clean. Service was good, the staff helped a lot in terms of giving travel pointers.

The hotel itself was nice, although Medan was shitty. The staff was very polite and helpful. The food was good, and not overpriced, especially at the Jade Restaurant. The surroundings of the hotel, however, is another story. Medan town is dirty and people try to fleece you all the time. We actually stayed in the hotel after a couple of days, and enjoyed ourselves. The jacuzzi and sauna were wonderful and are free for guests of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was varied and suited to the local palette. Overall, total value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Always inquire about walking distances. Sometimes they may tell you take a cab when the destination is super close.

Overall the hotel facilties, enviroment and security excellent. Staff's are very helpfull and the also well manned. Its indeed a good place to stay for businessmen and family holiday.

My wife and I found it to be an excellent hotel to stay in. The security was great - the guards were always courteous and helpful. The rooms were of an extremely high standard -with always clean fast housekeeping and very friendly staff.
The value for money was second to none. We would and have recommended the hotel to all our friends.
We would definately stay there again.
Shopping Tip:
There r 2 shopping centres nearby- The Sun Plaza is cleaner than Carefour. 20 thousand by taxi & 10mins away!!!

JW Marriott Medan
The hotel was beautiful, and the range of restaurants was excellent. The gym and pool were fantastic quality and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. In the room, the large window to the bathroom was a brilliant feature which gave some natural night to the bathroom.

The JW Marriott Hotel in Medan is a very new hotel, having only been finished a handful of months ago, and looks fresh and vibrant. The quality of everything was kept to a very high standard. The staff are very friendly and always willing to go out of their way to help you.
Restaurant Tip:
The buffet meals offer very good value for money, relative to most of the other meals available on the menu, and have a huge range of cuisine.
