This hotel is dirty and ,smelly, the room was very small the bed light above or bed had no switch. To turn it of and the next rooms security alarm went all night. There was no English speaking desk attendants to deal with any of this. The room smelt of cigarettes very. Badly .. The breakfast open at 7 am and our flight left at 8 so cannot comment on that

Hotel that can be better

Room - The aircon was not working. Bathroom are small. there were ants on the wall. Pillows were flat.
Reception - One or two people were rude. no one knew proper english
Location was not too bad.
There were mosquitoes at the lobby area
Restaurant was not too bad but breakfast could be better. Poor selection of food for breakfast.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Lake toba and brastagi is beautiful to see. but stay the night. day trip might be tiring as its a long drive and roads are bad.

small cozy hotel but small rooms

Stayed at medanville for 3nights as need to travel to other towns around medan. The hotel is quite cozy but the rooms and bed are quite small. Breakfast is very basic. Good thing is our friend stay a few blocks away and easy for us to meet them. For the price cant complain much thou.

The 1st night I was stay in horrible double-bed room no. 215. Furniture in that room was very old. Air-condition didn't cold. Shower area is very small. It is like a room for a 2nd class guest. I asked for a new room with twin-bed as my friend was coming the staff there were nice they changed it for me. The new room is no. 212. It was great. Furniture is very new. Shower area is wider than room no. 215. I love it. They gave me breakfast coupon to eat breakfast in a Chinese restaurant in hotel's area. There were fried rice, fried noodle, and congee. The restaurant never fills up the congee after it's gone.
