Old but well maintained hotel
All staff starting from the Receptions to Housekeeping were eager to please.

I've stayed at this hotel a few years ago and was expecting a rather rundown hotel when checking in again recently. This time I went on a company trip with 13 others, and was gladly surprised that despite some wear and tear the hotel was very well maintained. All the staff seemed eager to please the guests and went out of their way to attend to your smallest request. With the price I paid through Agoda, I find the hotel value for money and look forward to stay again at the hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Try to get rooms above 6th floor, as most entertaintment outlets at the hotel are located on the 3-5th floor. The noise from these outlets may disturb your sleep if you are a light sleeper.

Cheap but really impressive stay

Highly recommend! I didn't recognize how good the hotel could be until I reached there, since they charge such a low price. It was really impressive. The very local food such as satay they offer in the restaurant is what you must try. They also have shuttle bus service.

Soechi International Hotel in Medan
Reasonal room at reasonable price, complementary airport transfer at approx every hour

I stay only one night to really check out the hotel. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Room comes with reasonable breakfast spread for two. Basic amenities are ok. I find the hotel carpet old and need to be replaced. There is a complementary airport transfer once every hour during most of the day. It is only about 20 minutes to the airport. Reasonable rate.
