Style of decoration, good staff, very yummy food, clean room including trendy design, good bathroom, small supermarket where offer you all you need with reasonable price and near airport and very important thing is praying room service for guests who come to visit there for a while.

Swiss Bell Inn - Nice place to stay cos near airport 13min drive. Food excellent just beside hotel. Taxi easy access.

Nice hotel, quality vs price, affordable for me, as solo traveller. Convenient to explore Medan, location just in old chinesse quarter.
A bit sombre in the evening, but those who love chinese foods, do not have to go far to find one.
Restaurant Tip:
Jalan Selat Panjang is on the backyard of this hotel, famous for chinesse hawkers..

A quaint city hotel that put you in b lend with the in and goings. A place to sit back for the small price that you pay and the big comfort that it provides.
I will definitely stay here in my future golf exploits or visits.

Great location with excellent service
Location is great, at the back street of the hotel there are restaurant serve many combination food.

I have a very late check in so the hotel is full. So reception upgrade my room into superior deluxe. The room is clean with modern interior. The view from my window is city view not too bad.
Restaurant Tip:
The restaurant at Selat Panjang street outside back door hotel closed at 23.30....

Swiss Belinn Medan is my favorite when visit Medan for business trip. You won't hungry as so many Medan food open till midnight. Free wifi and clean room is a good point.

Great location, near city centre, near food

Only stayed for a night, but staff were all pleasant, helpful, and speak ok english, my more detailed enquiries abt some train information were harder to go thru. basically the central of medan is easy to reach from here, we go everywhere by tuk tuk. Breakfast was ok, would have like a little more variety. and food was quite salty, like all over indonesia.
Travel tip:
book from agoda, it's cheaper than walking in

well, this hotel is great and it's located in the city. however, the becak service in front of the hotel is annoying. but, the breakfast, service, and the facilities, and free wifi, and free computer in the lobby is fine. strongly recommmend this hotel to you all with reasonable price! :d the staff there can speak well english so no worries!

Location makes it hard to get a taxi at a reasonable price. Buffet breakfasts are very good but the egg station takes an age to make anything and the toaster needs the bread putting through exactly 5 times to get it to the right shade of brown. Rooms have no windows so can appear a bit closed in. Aircon very good and so is the wi-fi. Bar service at night is an embarrassment....the bar staff do not have a clue how to make or prepare drinks. A vodka/orange took 12 minutes to prepare!!!! If you order the 'special' Margarita then prepare to wait even longer while they fiddle and faff around. Beware if you stain or mark the bed linen
