my dream hotel offers good service. the rooms are very clean and large and also the (western-style) bathroom offers enough space. you can manage the airco and because of the silence you will get a very good sleep.
front desk staff is very friendly and helpfull and the restaurant serves some good, indonesian food.
the style is businessy; colours are black en (easy-jet)orange and it does not have a cosy or authentic indonesia feel. it is a modern hotel that could be in any city or country.
Shopping Tip:
Sun Plaza is at walking distance; a modern shopping mall with high end brand shops.

its nice to stay in my dream hotel. good enough for the room, but i think the bath room is small, but its quite good inside. to reach the town its not far anyway because of the location in the center of town.

The hotel is quite nice and clean. the toilet is a bit small. The WC position is not properly locate during construction. The breakfast is ok and it is near to the hawker site at the back lane of the hotel. I found that the hawker food selling is a bit expensive. The hotel aircond system need provide some mainteenance and cleansing.

Restaurant Tip:
at night u can go to near by streets and discover the local foods and drinks.

Hotel is conveniently located within town area. There are heaps of roadside stalls behind the hotel. Great front office service staff who is willing to help us out. However, it would be better if the hotel could provide free wi-fi in the room.

the hotel is quite near the airport and also near the city area. room is basic but ok. the bed is so so. bath room and aircon is ok. breakfast is also very basic not much choices. below the hotel there is a small mini mart which comes in handy. at the back of hotel, there are many food stalls and food shops which are quite tasty. call bluebird for your taxi need.

a pleasant place to stay in medan
clean, comfortable, safe hotel. it is located next to chinese cafes serving comfort foods.

my dream hotel is located in the centre of town. however, medan is a busy city that does not encourage walking so even though most places a visitor may want to visit are close by you may find it hard to get to those places on your own. the hotel staff try their best to help but they lack maps and sufficient english to describe the way to where visitors may want to to go. they will most likely suggest you take a taxi because where you want to go is "very far" when in fact you can walk there in less than 30 minutes, including long waits at junctions trying to cross the street in the face of relentless traffic that rarely give way to pedestrians. of all the chinese noodles found along the street running past the back of the hotel try the "hokkein mee" which medan noodle chefs seem particularly good at serving up.
Travel tip:
Blue Bird taxis are the safest to ride on. But give yourself up to 30 minutes for a taxi to show up at the hotel after you request the reception to call one.
