Middle range hotel but great value

Overall the hotel is nice, clean with friendly staff and it is absolutely worth for stay with good price from agoda. Location is nice with plenty of chinese shop out there. We made a request for adapter from receptionist and surprised they sent it within 5 minutes.
Restaurant Tip:
Just out from the back entrance from the hotel (breakfast corner), you can see many local chinese restaurants along the street.

We only had a brief stay in Medan arriving in the evening and heading off early the next morning. The hotel was very comfortable and the rooms were spotless. The next street over had a good selection of street food, but nothing else is really in walking distance.
Breakfast had a limited selection but good enough.

Watch pavements...great big holes over drains.

The swissbel was a great reasonably priced place to stay. The location is excellent as it is only a couple blocks to foodstreet and walking distance to jalan selatpanjang. Rooms are small but clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Whenever i come to Medan, i would stay here. It never fails me. For this price point its hard to beat. I would highly recommend it for people who dont need the extras, but a clean room and well maintained hotel.
