not far from airport, located near to business center, sorrounding by many restaurant

i think i have a pleasant stay at this hotel. the price is affordable, the hotel is simple and clean, the staffs are friendly, strategic location with plenty good restaurant and transportation options.

2. Abundant TV channel.
3. 24 hours room services.
4. Food street (Various Chinese Food) is behind hotel.
5. Easy access taxi services in front of hotel.

Basic hotel, small room, very small window
Buffet breakfast - good variety, friendly staff, central location

1) Tried the massage which was supposed to be 30 minutes, but they masseur completed in 22 minutes, which was a disappointment.
2) The window was sealed and I could hardly see anything out of the window as it was stained and a very blurred and dirty glass.
3) Main lobby was very basic and did not have enough place to sit while we were required to wait to be checked in, hence we had to remain standing for 20 minutes.
4) The hotel does not qualify to be labelled as a 3-star hotel, need toseriously revisit the rating.

Terrific Hotel
Great room, great breakfast buffett, the best staff around!

I really liked this hotel, the staff were friendly, helpful and fun. The food was wonderful, and the rooms modern. The only down side was the neighbourhood - but so what. I'd happily recommend this hotel.

swiss-berlinn medan has the strategic location in medan. it has a very nice lobby with high ceiling to the highest floor. the room rate is worth for the price. you can find good chinese foods just at the street behind the hotel. the staffs are friendly and helpful.
but the hotel should improve on the room condition as it has some weird smell which might came from the ac or where else. besides that, you might disturb by the corridor outside your room, poor sound insulation noise.

There are smoking & non-smoking room. Please check accordingly before your reservation.

Good Hotel at Great Location
The service is good, the location is so near to the street selling many of nice food, and it also has 24 hour minimart.

The room should have a wardrobe, instead of just giving us some hangers for our clothes. The bathroom should be designed good also for those old people who can not standing too long. The television in the room should have more channels in mandarin/chinese. The food during the breakfast should have more variety.
Restaurant Tip:
Nearby/behind the hotel, at Jalan Selat Panjang, there is nice food called "Cee-Cong-Fan", something in white and very tasty one.

Nice hotel but not really as expected

The hotel was quite ok and rooms too. Can easily find nearby restaurants or shops for various things that you need. However, rooms didn't have carpets but then it's ok for me and my family.
