Great hotel for relaxation and shopping.Breakfast is sufficent with decent varieties.The hotel look tired and old but the price is reasonable
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The becak are notorious for overcharging.Careful since they would bring you around town and charge for longer distance.10mins ride should cost no more than

great for moslem, the hotel is near mosque (masjid), wireless internet speed in lobby is faster than wireless internet in room.
The bathroom floor often get wet, it's quite disturbing.
The minibars not updated daily.

"costly smile hotel"
all the staff was always with a smile. rooms were wonderful. breakfast was excellent.

on arriving at the hotel, there were no requested rooms & was told to wait. after 30 minutes, finally they had a room. they asked for for "others" as deposit( other hotels only take).and the person in reception told me that i have to pay for transport to airport which is written under their fascilities and which is only 5 minutes drive from the hotel.the price charged for a draught beer was very expensive compared to other nearby hotel, its double the price!!
Travel tip:
stay in the hotel, but eat & have entertainment elsewhere.

The location is quite ok & the staff's service with smile.
Although we had been ask to change room a lot of time by no reason when check-in, but the room is comfortable so we forgot the unhappy experience.
But the masseur of the hotel is not so good as I felt body ache after the massage.

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful bellboys

A good place to rest and relax. Away from the city limelight.
Shopping Tip:
Can take a nice stroll to the nearest shopping complex. Our tourist guide, Ermando is very informative. He reminded us to beware of snatch thieves downtown. Should have more bright street lights at night along the road in front of Tiara hotel.

Nicely & comfortable hotel.
best situated, close to Sun Plaza, Merdeka Walk. Very quiet because of the hotel is not nearly with the main road.

I was very impressed with the room, cleaness and big.(with 2 big single bed for my family of four). very good location, close to shopping centre, free internet in the room. The price was cheaper through Agoda. This hotel also free one person dinner and welcome drink.

stayed 4 nights. room is clean but furniture are old. shower mixer and sink tap didn't too well. bathroom amenities need to improve. i.e shower and shampoo gel not labeled .
breakfast rating 6 out of 10.

From its exterior, one can tell that the hotel has stood its ground for many years. Nothing to shout about the room apart from its spaciousness. The staff was friendly and easy to approach to. Had a good time at its fitness center. Location wise, it's located just walking distance from one of the big mall in medan.
