We have a great stay at the Tiara. The hotel is is a great location in Medan. The room was clean and big. The only negative for us was the breakfast, it was just not to our liking.

affordable hote for quick visit to medan

It was an okay experience, you get a nice room with the price you're paying. The fact that people can smoke inside the lobby was unpleasant. The construction thats happening during our stay creates a messy look for thw hotel. But its a good option if you you're just in medan for quick visit and needed a good affordable place to stay

we stayed for 3 nights and 4 days which was a good holiday with nice place to stay at. Nice hotel- clean,presentable, very good room service and worth the money you paid. It is accessible to city and shopping complex is within walking distance. Available facilities and also mode of tranportation easily available - taxi, hotel limo, trishaw.

The room was clean and comfortable.The only setback is the bathroom. There was no drainage outlet on the bathroom floor.Have to bath in the bathtub.Excess water is stagnant on the floor.Each time after bathing have to call room service to dry the floor.Less choice of food for breakfast.Hotel wifi was slow or unable to connect.
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is walking distance to shopping centers and town.Medan is not a shopping destination.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile
room are great and foods are fantastic

really love the room's condition, toilet very clean and neat, we really enjoy the breakfast, the foods are great and staff always greeting with smile..for sure i'll book this hotel for the next visit..even-though quite far from the attractions area but there are many motor-taxi in front of the hotel..
Restaurant Tip:
there are no food stall nearby but can try from the hotel restaurant

"costly smile hotel"
all the staff was always with a smile. rooms were wonderful. breakfast was excellent.

on arriving at the hotel, there were no requested rooms & was told to wait. after 30 minutes, finally they had a room. they asked for for "others" as deposit( other hotels only take).and the person in reception told me that i have to pay for transport to airport which is written under their fascilities and which is only 5 minutes drive from the hotel.the price charged for a draught beer was very expensive compared to other nearby hotel, its double the price!!
Travel tip:
stay in the hotel, but eat & have entertainment elsewhere.

Nicely & comfortable hotel.
best situated, close to Sun Plaza, Merdeka Walk. Very quiet because of the hotel is not nearly with the main road.

I was very impressed with the room, cleaness and big.(with 2 big single bed for my family of four). very good location, close to shopping centre, free internet in the room. The price was cheaper through Agoda. This hotel also free one person dinner and welcome drink.
