In general, this hotel is good, with some drawbacks. Booked for a Junior Suite with non-smoking room request. They only had a smoking room at the time of my showing, so they upgraded me to an Executive Suite FOC. Right away a plus. Pluses : Room was big, clean, nicely air-conditioned, non-alcoholic mini-bar was free to consume; housekeeping was attentive; breakfast was great, a lot of variant from Indonesian, Western to Chinese cuisine to savour. Minuses : Inroom free wifi internet was annoying - often disconnects, so had to reconnect, inputing userid and password each time; bathroom design poor : shower on bath tub w/out shower curtain so water free to splatter all over; closet sits right beside the wash basin with little leg space aka very awkward; the indoor swimming pool was dark, gloomy - just overall poorly lit; hotel only had 1 restaurant, which was quite pricy and the staff wasn't too well knowledged; shopping mall advertised to be its neighbour is only a 3-star mall, nothing fancy (although the food court there has better variety, great tasting food - which I ended up having dinner there). I was a little sick upon arrival and had to buy some meds. Noticed the drugstore hotel was closed and rarely opens. But that was easily compensated by the friendly staff that volunteered to run to the nearby pharmacy for me. Overall, would I stay there again? YES!
