position in middle of city-could walk easily to many places
lift(elevator0 VERY old 7 rickety
we enjoyed our stay in this 3 star hotel which is joined on to the garden palace hotel(4 star) & managed by same staff. Everyone was polite, helpful & always smiling. The gymnasium & swimming pool were used every day. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice & the business centre staff were VERY helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : taxis were cheap & quick to get to destinations further afield

Hotel is very near to shopping area thus is very conveniently located in Surabaya. Walking distance to the nearby shopping and eating areas. Some facilities shared with Garden Palace hotel next to it. Food is ok but not fantastic. Lift hotel is very basic. Can consider more for those who don't mind the lack of extras. Rooms are big but old.
