Central hotel. good rooms

Business style hotel, in busy but central location near station, taxis etc. Huge room with seperate sitting area, good view. Wifi was charged but gave free code if booked through agoda. Breakfast / onsite coffee shop not great but good warangs right outside.

Lovely hotel -- soon to be by the end of the year

The first impression from outside, the hotel is quite old but they are currently renovating which will be done on the end of the year. and it does located on the center of Surabaya which is a plus point for us. When we enter the reception, it greets us with a warm smile and assists us excellently. The hotel is often hook with great packages deal from Agoda. So overall i recommend this hotel if you are coming down to Surabaya, Indonesia
Shopping Tip:
You should try Tunjungan Plaza ( one of the famous mall in surabaya, it goes Tunjungan Plaza 1 2 and 3
And try Pasar Atum ( its like the most famous local mall, with many jewelery shops, cloths, and many local authentic foods

My stay was comfortable even though the hotel was most of the time well occupied. Two flight crews use this hotel so that is a good indication.
Had a problem with the wifi connection. They tried their best but it was the server problem.
They offered me the business center and kept it open even after the business staff had retired.
I like the pillows, large and comfortable. Rooms also of a good size.
The hotel in a garden setting is set-in away from the busy road, so no traffic noise.
Shopping Tip:
There is one relatively large Mall just 5 mins away. Taxies are readily available so no problem with transportation.

Had good stay at Garden Palace. Had the Japanese room theme which is a good change from the normal rooms. Room is of fair size newly renovated and good condition. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I felt very warmly welcomed the moment the doorman opened the doors to the hotel for me till the day I left for the airport.
Though there was some on-going renovation, I was not inconvenienced in any way.
However, I thought the breakfast selection can be improved somewhat in terms of quality.
Shopping Tip:
Surabaya's first shopping mall is conveniently located about 200 metres away.

Room was big, had a sofa that was big enough for 1 person to sleep on
