The hotel location is a great point. Overall, I would say that this hotel is fully recommended for those who want to experience a new hospitality. However, the staff do not always smile when giving us service. It is a little bit annoying. Breakfast is really good by serving Indonesian and Western cuisine styles.

Good hotel with strategic location

i got so much benefit because of the hotel has a good location. it is near to delta plaza, one of the biggest department store of surabaya, so i just took less than 5 minutes to get buying some necessarily thing, shopping or else. it has some nice places to get through walking distance, such as: submarine monument, tunjungan plaza, governor office, and so on.

The hotel is clean, the food taste fair. But they lack of double bed rooms. They gave me twin bed instead...
There isn't personal save deposit in the room, the telephone and TV were not working properly.

a small hotel with a standart service

This is an old hotel but has recently had a major renovations done bringing it up now to a very good standard especially the rooms.
The hotel has free Wifi in all rooms and the breakfast at the restaurant in the morning was very good.
Basically it has all the modern trappings you would expect for a hotel in the upper price bracket except it has no swimming pool.
The location is excellent as there are two major shopping malls within 5 minutes walk and the main train station is about 6-7 minutes walk away.
If you want somewhere flash but don't want to spend an absolute packet then I would say this is a good choice.
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is a short walk to the huge Tangjungan mall, the submarine museum of a submarine so ancient that it was more dangerous being a crewmember than any threat it posed, close to the train terminal & governor’s residence.

was very crowded at the reception on the very day i checked in. overall it is very convenient to access to the surabaya mall with minutes of walking. nice breakfast and smoking room was available.

Located in town centre. Plaza Surabaya just a walking distance and Tunjungan is about 1km away.
Restaurant Tip:
Must try Nishiki Shabu House, the Japanese located at the basement of the hotel. The food is fresh with reasonable price.

arrived early in morning after a train trip they checked me in at 6.00 am. got one of the upgraded rooms. new everything. was great.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
close to the submarine display on the banks of the kali mas(gold river) which is now not gold any more. its an old russian sub giver to indo as a suck up during the cold war. you get to go inside and its on dry land so there is no chance of you sinking.
