Every Room Provides Built-In Sofa/ Extra Bed

As a family of 2 adults and one kid, the cleanliness, room space and size of beds are key factors. Garden Palace provides all of the above. The best part is, every room has a built-in sofa which is large enough to be used a spare bed. And it's free.
The breakfast is quite standard but the fried noodle (mee goreng) is excellent.

the location is good enough to go to the big shopping malls within the walking distance, room is clean with free wi-fi, staff also helpful and is willing to help me to rebook my flight schedule free of charge. food there is acceptable but little change. afterall, the hotel stay is value for money.

The location is great, it is in the heart of the city. The staffs are also friendly. However some of the rooms need to be refurbished. We had 2 rooms and 1 of them with problem on the air conditioning. Room with good air conditioned is really a must if you stay in Surabaya.
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is close to Grand city Mall and Tunjungan Plaza, where these are some of the best place to shop in Surabaya. And when you need to cool down from the heat in Surabaya there is a nice Zhangrandi ice cream shop just in from of the hotel

this hotel have a great services, but just a little bit too small for the room rather than other hotel at this region..
But it has "Room Theme", I spent at Japanese Style room, and thats was great decor.

great location but poor bathroom

stay here for 1 night.. over all is not too bad.. it is beacuse of renovation of this hotel..
the sink hole in the bathroom is close.. so we had to called room service to open it.. because our bathroom is full of water..
extra bed is not comfort and the sheets is awfully not ironed.
maybe this is the cause this hotels need renovation

Gym, pool, spa, huge buffet breakfast and centrally located in Surabaya. Large shopping mall right next door with a supermarket and plenty of bargain shopping.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Very good gym downstairs with plenty of machines, free weights and cardio machines. Bring some training gear if you're staying for a few days so you can work of the buffet breakfast.

The Garden Palace hotel is my 1st choice of accommodation on my visit to Surabaya. The room is nice and very comfortable. The hotel is located at the heart of the Surabaya city. The service from all level of staff is good and very friendly. Some of the shopping complexes are located around the hotel I.e. Delta, Grand City and Tunjungan Plaza (TP).
Overall the hotel is fulfill my needs during my stay in Surabaya.

My preferered hotel at Surabaya. The hotel is situated at the heart of the city and near to most of shopping complexs. The room is big and value for money for the services we are getting from the hotel and staffs.
