Budget hotel
The glass for brushing teeth in the toilet is very dirty. At night, the most of the lights in the lobby is switched off with a few staff at the reception. The only good thing is that it is cheap.

Bad Experience
Nightmare staying in this hotel, when we check in that time the room was not prepared and was stink and dirty. There is no windows as well for this hotel, and the toilet is smelly.After much complaining they change me to another room, but still the toilet was not clean. The shower sometimes hot water not working. Really a nightmare staying in this hotel.

Very affordable
Affordable, centrally located, near to plenty of local food
Jus fine enough with the price offered, eatable breakfast with not many variety, room clean with tidy bed, and most importantly, internet available without any down time. Recommended for business and backpacker

Simple and nice hotel
Value for Money, West Surabaya Location, No Frill Hotel
We stayed there for our relative wedding. It was nice, simple and quiet hotel. Breakfast was provided at buffet small variety of foods. Good location in West Surabaya. One of the best value for money hotel in West Surabaya!

Griyo Avi Hotel needs improvement.
It is not easy to say about the best 3 things. After thingking hardly, they serve their breakfast on time, put 3 bottles of plain water everyday, and ???
Our stay in Griyo Avi Hotel was so so. We know that Surabaya is hot and we expected that we would have a "cool" room in fact the AC was not good. We had explained the problem to the engineer but they could not repair it. The door slot has broken and when we told this problem to the receptionist, they could not manage it. Fortunately, our "weekend" in Surabaya turned happy because we got a nice friendly blue bird driver named Angga, he helped us a lot.
