Colonial Hotel in the middle of Surabaya

my wife and i checked in at majapahit with ease as all the staff there were very friendly. we were given a welcome drink and ushered to our room with a little insight of the history of the hotel by one of the staff. the room that we got was huge, facing the garden, on the 2nd floor. the spa and the swimming pool were excellent. the room service quality and quantity was also very good. the location of the hotel is just a 5 mins walk to tunjungan plaza. overall, i am pleased to have stayed at this hotel and will definately recommend it to my friends whenever they intend to visit surabaya.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Free WIFI all the way. Free use of business centre. Very good spa and massage at the hotel.

Five Stars Historical Hotel

This is truly a wonderful hotel of historical importance. The rooms are huge with efficient aircons, bathrooms are massive and high quality, great breakfast, great location, just 5 minutes walk from a huge shopping mall, beds are kingsize and very comfortable. It is very clean and the service top notch. In future I will always stay at the Majapahit Hotel when I visit Surabaya. The only complaint is that the wifi internet did not always work in the room or lobby but this was due to the service provider and not the hotels fault.
Shopping Tip:
There is a huge shopping mall about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, here you can find everything including restaurants, fast food and department stores. It is one of the largest malls in Surabaya.

Wonderful Colonial hotel

this is the third time we have stayed here, although the last time was ten years ago. it is a beautiful hotel with a very important history for surabaya and the whole of indonesia.
it is very similar in style to raffles in singapore. stay at hotel majapahit in surabaya: it really feels like you have stepped back into a time of colonial comfort and grandeur. it is atmospheric and peaceful, the service is excellent and very friendly.
Shopping Tip:
Visit Mirota handicraft shop for a great experience in an aladin's cave. Genuine handicrafts from all around Indonesia at low fixed prices. Leave room in your suitcase!
