Large rooms but low quality

the hotel looks great from the outside but when you enter it you realise why it is a 3 star hotel. while the room was spacious it had quality problems. the air con was leaking which resulted in a puddle of water on the floor. the bed side lights could not be swithed off so i had to cover them with cloth to make sure that the room was dark enough for me to be able to sleep.

i had a new experience staying in this unique hotel. as there is no hotel in indonesia before having oval shape, this hotel room has a unique window shape because of the hotel oval shape. this will give you different feeling while staying inside, which is fabulous to me.

I am happy staying at Oval Hotel, because the hotel was clean, tidy and the food is good,the pity one is my room was at the edge/ corner of the hotel building, so it was a bit small. But generally was good

Very cheap compare to the other hotel at the same class. They even provide free breakfast. Near to Surabaya Zoo, even you can see the animal cage from your room. Nice and you can save a lot in your travel budget.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to Surabaya Zoo and their landmark (Suro + Boyo = Shark and Crocodile monument).

The hotel has good location within the city with easy taxi transportation. Room service is good. Nice and friendly staff. The room condition is clean, but rather empty from the furniture point of view. The room light position can be arranged beter. Bed is comfortable.

Great Location and Good Price
Its location is great and the service is good. It's near zoo, mall, and eating place, so if you are bored you can just walk outside.

I went to Surabaya for some meeting. From outside, the hotel was great (quite big). I didn't expect much for 3 start hotel, but when I entered my room, it was good. Quite big and comfortable. I recommend this hotel for business purpose and if you want to have a pleasure in Surabaya.
