grand old hotel, well preserved
room is grand, service is good, a bit understaffed for breakfast the morning we were there

we loved the room, beautiful furniture and tile. The hotel is over 80 years old and well preserved. Apparently the place has survived an earthquake or two, or some serious settling. There must be at least a 6 inch drop over 30 feet in the dining room.
Hotel Feature Tip:
hotel management fills the room, at least the one we had, with moth balls, in the bathroom, and in all corners of the room. The result is the whole room is full of the carcinogenic offgassing from the moth balls. Someone should really tell them this is not going to work.

Nice old property
Classic hotel with classic friendly service

The location is nice, easy access to anywhere. There're only two choices for breakfast, some friedrice and chicken soup, but when I asked for fried egg, they allowed me to have it, thank you.
The airconditioners, washbasin, bath tub need more maintenance. Overall it's a good experience to stay at such classic property.
Shopping Tip:
It only take not more than Rp10,000 to reach Tunjungan Plaza by cab.

トイレの水は流れない、冷房機は壊れている。直しに来ても治らないといった宿でした。隣はインドネシアの学生が家具を外に出して１０人ほどで和気藹々とシェアーしていました。１週間居ましたが慣れてしまえばこれがこちらの標準なのだと感じました。
Hotel Feature Tip:
WiHiFreeになっていますが、使えるのはレセプション周辺に限られ部屋では使えません。

Letak Hotel sangat strategis di tengah kota
Para staf hotel sangat ramah dan fasilitasnya cukup memadai

Terlalu banyak kapur barus yang diletakkan di dalam kamar mandi sehingga aromanya terasa cukup kuat (tidak setiap orang menyukai aroma kapur barus).
Mengenai tempat makan, karena letak Hotel yang strategis maka sangat mudah dalam mencari tempat makan sebab dengan cukup berjalan kaki saja sudah dapat menemukan aneka macam tempat jualan makanan di ruko dengan menu yang beraneka ragam.
