hav'nt stayed there for 8years but still good which is a surprise because many hotels in indonesia suffer from a lack of maintance but this one is still as it was 8 years ago. very friendly staff.close to shopping plaza.
Shopping Tip:
its next to tujungan plaza(i hope i spelt that correctly) which nis a large shopping mall in surabaya. its realy the centre of the city these days.

I have been in this hotel about four or five years ago. I found out the lobby setting and interior of the guest room are remained the same with gold and brown dominated colors. Since its location is at central city of Surabaya, it is one of a convenient place to stay for shopping and culinary.

First I was given a corner smaller room where air con was not working. I complained and after 2 hours was moved to another bigger room. The room was fine but hotel seems to be old. The hotel is located in active part of the city. There is live music in the evenings. Went to the bar @ hotel was empty, may be went early. There are clubs within walking distance, but need to ask and they are okay. Most of eating places close @ 1200 midnite around hotel. There is 24 hr McD nearby.
